Great looking bunk bed for 7yr old boy and 4yr old girl. Easy to assemble, and looks great in the room. The top bunk railing seems loose but we just dont put much weight on it. Could definitely use more slats for top bunk. We used 8 inch hybrid mattress on both bunks and it worked out well. Super.
I am not happy. I would have have a better rating if one of the parts that came in wasnt broken. The bed comes with a phone number you can call and they took forever to get back to me. When they finally called back they couldnt just send me a new they wanted me to go online and do it myself. Which I wasnt able to do. So I just had to make do without the part.
Easy to install and strong. I ordered the gray one and it was not the color in the photo they displayed. It was lighter than you would expect it to be. The bed parts did come without any scratches or rips. So I am happy about that. My thing is that I wish the beams where more thicker and sturdy. I guarantee you will be on a ride finding a bed mattresses thatll fit this set.
visual instructions were for the most part easy to follow, quality is good and bunks beds are sturdy. what else can I say ? 4 out of 5 stars. Solid and basic.
I researched A LOT before I bought this bed. I was drawn to the bunk bed closer to the floor and the solid wood description.
First, it was really hard to put together! It took me over four hours. The small side slats kept falling out and it took quite a bit of puzzle work to get everything lined up and tightened. Youd think the side pieces would have come preassembled given that you had to perfectly line up each slat to the crossbeams. And as soon as you got a couple going the rest would fall out.
My biggest issue is it smells! While putting it together, I had to open the window and and bring in a air purifier. My kids are not sleeping in it for a few nights! Luckily I saved their old beds before I decide Im keeping this one.
For a bed that claims low VOC and solid New Zealand wood (another selling point), Im gravely concerned by the reviews that say this has been swapped out with plywood!!
I found this bed on a blog that recommended it as a non/toxic option. I have a kid on the autism spectrum whos refusing to sleep in her room, so Ive been replacing all our household furniture with the most non toxic stuff I can afford. Im super disappointed to think I spent an entire day building this thing, placing my kids green mattresses on it, and hoping that the smell dissipates in the next few days.
And apparently I need to contact the manufacturer now to make sure its not plywood but the solid pine that was described? Ugh.
The one thing Im most upset about is how many times people I know are ordering from and the thing that is send is an inferior, knock off version that wasnt properly advertised. From sunglasses to Apple charging cords and now this.I feel like I cant trust the description to reflect the product sent anymore.
This is a good bed. It was complicated to put together, though. I highly recommend using zip ties or rope/bungee cord to keep the base and headboard together as you place it in the frame (see picture for reference). Otherwise the little slats fall out and it is very annoying. Zip ties were a game changer (I used 24 heavy duty zip ties that we had on hand). The bed seems sturdy, but I was disappointed to see that the bolts caused two larger boards to crack. I expected better quality than that. My kids love their new beds, though. Nice well made.
This bed had great reviews but once i received it and used it about 6 months, i noticed the bead shaking a lot. The slacks where the matress sits does not align very well. My daughter doesnt sleep in the bed that often and she doesnt play on it.

Cute but.
This bed looks beautiful but like other people have mentioned, the ladder dangles/wobbles even after professional installation. Very pleased!
Not too bad
It took me a couple of days to completely assemble the bunk bed by myself but the kids were happy. Well made, easy to assemble and useful.
Its a gamble

QUALITY FOR THE MONEY

A great buy!
Sturdy and great price, make sure its more than 1 person to assemble! Smaller than I expected.
It smells! Not sure how this is non/toxic, low VOC.

Use zip ties to put together; some cracked wood.

Not as sturdy as printed to believe
