Genuinely easier to assemble than any furniture Ive ever done. It is fairly important to have an extra person on hand for something this size though. Ok.
I am very happy with the bunk bed. I ordered and received a white one. Everything was in the packages and was delivered in good condition. Wood pieces were all in tact, no funky smells, no damages or discoloration. I was able to put it together by myself, but would have been better to wait for my husband to hold up pieces. Took me about 2 hours to put together. My daughter loves it and there is enough room on the bottom bunk to play if you get a thinner mattress as recommended by manufacture. Thank you so much.

We love this bunk bed! Great value for the money.
Some parts of the paint feel rough and not as smooth as it should. One of the pieces came scratched but even with furniture Ive gotten at furniture stores it can happen, really not a big deal and not that visible.
The instructions can be tricky, but if you take your time and not rush it you will get it done. My advice is to sort all the same pieces together before you get started. Be careful when you install the bar! I wasnt paying attention and used the wrong screws that went clear out the other side of the bed! But my kids will just cover that with stickers anyway.
Definitely get more slats! I followed another reviewers advice and installed all bottom and top slats on the top and bought a bunkie board for the bottom. Overall great product and my kids LOVE it! We are super happy with this bed! Very functional.
I was concerned by the other reviews that the bed might smell, but planned to give it some time to off/gas in an unused room just in case. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bed does not smell. (Other than the smell of pine wood which is to be expected). I am very sensitive to chemical odors and this bed doesnt bother me at all!
Assembly was pretty straightforward. It took two adults about an hour and a half, but we are pretty good at reading instructions carefully. The bed is stable and solid and feels safe.
The wood is soft (it is pine) and will dent easily, but arrived undamaged and with all parts.
I did notice that some of the bed slats had been glued together and it is my experience with other furniture that sometimes that glue can smell for a few months. It might be that the slats are the culprit if you get a smellier bed. Fortunately slats are easy to come by, and some are whole piece (these are layered).
We took another reviewers advice and installed all slats on the top. With a thin childs mattress of the bottom (sits on the floor) this leaves me plenty of headroom and I can sit comfortably on the bottom.
I do plan to add padding under the bunk around where the bar rests just in case.
Overall I am really pleased with this purchase. It exceeded my expectations. Works great!

Slide is dangerous
Cute, but smells pretty bad and the slide is dangerous because theres a wood sort at the bottom of the slide that can hurt your feet.
