This is a sturdy piece of furniture. Our toddlers love this bunk bed. The storage in the steps is very spacious. The non slip strip on the steps makes for safer travel up and down. We have had this bed for a little over a month now and we have no complaints. We have a 2 year old and a 4 year old and have had no accidents so far, yay! It did take my husband about 4 hours to assemble, but it might be quicker if 2 people worked on it continuously (9 months pregnant with baby 3 meant not much help from mommy). I was little leary of buying, because of some reviews saying the bed wasnt sturdy, but our bed isnt going anywhere, its rock solid.
An excellent piece of furniture/ very sturdy and well designed. Assembly took a little while, but very doable. Only issue would be that assembly instructions could have been a little clearer. I recommend this product.
This bed is awesome You will definitely need at least 2 people to put it together but its totally worth the effort. It looks great and I love all the storage. We put ours in a guest bedroom so when my grandkids come over they have a place and then when normal guest come over they also have one. But this is a very sturdy and well made bed. Would highly suggest.
This is a 2 person job. You will need a drill with a power adjustment dial so you dont strip any holes. Some of the photos in the directions are misleading. When you get stuck, look a couple pages ahead and see the final part locations and it will help.
Bought this bed for my sons bedroom and although I waited a month after the bed arrived to assemble this bad boy. I managed to put it together by myself (superwoman I know). The bed came in six boxes and somehow I managed to open all of the boxes out of order ?. But anywho I assembled the staircase first and then the rest of the bed while my brat decided playing his tablet was more important than helpingok moving back to the review.noticed that some of the wood pieces were jacked up a little where the wood was damaged and shedding wood piecesbut since those pieces were part of the staircase drawers and could be hidden I wasnt sweating it. Just made sure I vacuumed throughout the mission impossible taskBut overall my brat loves it and thats all that matters.
Yes, it takes time to put together (count on 4 hours+, depending on your skill), but WAY better than the first one I got that was just plywood. Looks nice, and my grandkids are happy campers.
We really liked the look of the bed and the bottom bunk went together really well and fast but the top did not line up right and was more difficult to put together. Overall though we were pleased.

I wish i could give it 5 stars, but today when I was cleaning I saw that some of the wood on the bottom has cracked
