It is very sturdy. There is a slight smell to it that hopefully will dissipate soon. We added under curtains and lights so that the bottom bunk would be desirable too. The girls loved it.
This is a well made product with good construction. I recently needed a replacement part (my fault, not a defect in product) and their customer service was awesome about sourcing the part and wonderful to work with. A quality company that will be there after the initial sale should you need them.
This bed is awesome!! My toddler is in love with his new treehouse bed. We used the underneath for toy storage and he still has room to sit under there and use it as a fort. Its sturdy and the bed doesnt sit too high off the ground which is nice. Highly recommend!
The bunk bed itself is great but not the easiest to put together they need with there number system left or right sides. Plus when we got it there was a 2 foot crack in the support beam that some tried to repair and shipped anywsy. We spent 3 weeks trying to get it replaced only to have to repair it ourselves.
Great quality. Looks just like pics. Saw the reviews on assembly and hired someone to assemble. Took him close to 5 hrs and he needed my assistance on some parts. It definitely gave him a run for his money. I felt so bad for him but glad we didnt have to devote the time and energy ourselves. Saw some reviews saying sheets were hard to change on this but Ive had no difficulties.

So addressing the formaldehyde post reviews. I'm a Pathologists Assistant and work with a formaldehyde derivative called formalin every day. The bed smells nothing like that. The smell is that of painted pine and has dissipated in like 2 days. Amazing bed!, my daughter loves it.
It was a pain to build because there were so many pieces but they made it as easy to understand the directions as possible. Would have been a lot easier to build with another adult and not my two year old helper. It's pretty awesome though and I'm proud of myself. Wondering how I'm going to get this out when I move.
My daughter's new room for Christmas (a surprise). I love it. Still decorating. It's so much you can do with this bed set. Great quality wood, very sturdy. We hired a man to put it together, he did it by himself in 3.5 hours. He said, he had to drill a few additional holes due to incorrect accuracy but he was able to figure it out. He was even amazed by the quality. Awesome purchase. Pictures doesn't do it justice. Can't wait until she see it in the morning. F.Y.I. I never write reviews. Happy Holidays
