Our daughter wanted a bunk bed so bad. This one was a great price and was the color and look she wanted. It was not easy to put together. It took alot longer than expected and some of the parts were not well built. It is very sturdy and holds well and looks great. We like it and it does the trick and is safe.
Easy to assemble and sturdy. Because of the base board, the loft bed does not fit snuggly with the wall. Hence it is a little bit wobbly. A queen bed comfortably fits under the loft bed with plenty of head room. I am giving it 3.5 stars because rungs of the ladder are square and thin which are very hard of the feet of my kid. There is no gap at the top of the ladder due to which it becomes much more difficult to climb in and out of the bed. As you can see in the picture I have added some pool noodles on the rungs to make it more comfortable for my kid, but, it is a temporary solution as the pool noodles keep moving about while climbing.
It was very easy to put together and came with a couple extra screws. What I dont enjoy is the fact that I have to jump over the guard rail to get into bed. It wouldve been best if it came with an opening. The ladder is a bit painful to climb up since the metal is so hard and edged. The ladder is straight vertical so its an awkward climb. I wouldve preferred it be angled. But I have a dresser next to it that I climb up instead. Im okay with it for now, but Ill recommend others get something else.
Think of a IKEA product with a little less sophistication in finish and instructions. It takes a long time to assemble the product. It took me around 6 hours with a lunch break. I would suggest that you first take all pieces out of box 1, label with a post it and then for box 2 and do the same and then start off. That way it reduces the stress of finding pieces. All pieces are marked with a dark stamp on one side for most part. In some places the marking is a bit off or light and you need to do some logical deduction based on the pictures. But at the end of it, there were no pieces missing and they all went well together. It is good to have a drill to make some missing holes. the biggest flaw I noticed was that one of the corners of the top bunk had a slightly smaller hole depth and hence sitting in a unusual way while being placed on top of the bottom part of the bunk. But a bit of drill work solved the issue. not a biggie. For most part, it is a well made set and looks good when assembled. More updates once I get the mattresses and start using it for my kids.
I was impressed by the loft beds sturdiness and quality. We bought this for our grandsons weekly sleepovers and we also wanted to use the room the rest of the time for a reading room, so the space saving feature of a loft bed made perfect sense. It was easy to put together, requiring 2 people as per the instructions, but much of the assembly can be done by one person. The only thing I dont like about it is that you can only use a very thin mattress with it. We bought an 8 mattress and then found that it was as high as the guard rail, so I now have to find a way to raise the sides that doesnt cost too much. Otherwise, we are very satisfied with the bed.

Loft bed, tall/noise free
I love that it is noise free. It wobbles a bit but in a sturdy way, its not flimsy. I bought another one for my other child.
