Once we could get a confirmed delivery (and it took a loooong time), we were really excited when this couch arrived!
It's nicer than pictured online BUT we couldn't find the support leg and was about to call to request a replacement leg when I read other reviewers with the same issue directing readers to LOOK inside the zipper pouch on the underside of the loveseat... and voila! (duh)
Anyway, this is a really nice loveseat, not exactly comfy but well made, nice color and materials for a trendy beachy modern vibe we were going for!
I really love this couch! I was very nervous about ordering a couch on , especially a colored one when I wasn't sure what it would really look like. I think the color is beautiful. I'd definitely say it's a nice, neutral Forrest green. The couch is a comfortable firm and very soft. I'm in love with it. Great deal.
This sofa is gorgeous and comfortable. The color is exactly what I was looking for.
My only complaint about this product was the shipping situation. I received this sofa 3 weeks after I purchased it, after 3 calls to and 3 calls to the courier and a ton of misleading information about the delivery dates. The most astounding thing was that could not tell me where the sofa was for almost 2 weeks because it had been shipped but had not arrived to the courier. Not being able to locate and provide an eta for my very expensive sofa seems extremely odd given I can usually track a roll of toilet paper from the warehouse to my door and every step in between. I also had to BEG for it to be delivered to my apartment door instead of left downstairs despite the language on the website saying they would do so.
Overall - great product, but they need to iron out the logistics.
We had this couch for less than 72 hours when the buyers remorse set in. The couch is very pretty but as you get closer you see the flaws- skewed stitching lines, mis-colored legs, and no mater how much we fluff and try shape the cushions, they never fully take their shape. The couch is comfy at first but after awhile our backs hurt and the way the seat tips backwards puts a lot of pressure on the lower back in an odd way. The chaise lounge cushion never fully flattens down and tips up quite a bit, then trying to keep it centered on the ottoman became the next challenge. We unfortunately will be retuning this since $1200 is a big chunk of change to spend on a couch that is so-so.
Overall, we decided to keep the sofa, and after a few weeks are satisfied with how everything worked out, but it wasn't a seamless process. QC may be an issue with this brand. Also, would buy it again at our price ($600), but not for twice that, which is what it's going for now.
Buying a couch online is risky, but given the pandemic and all the restrictions on stores being open we decided to roll the dice, especially since offers a 30 day return window.
A few things to mention:
-Color: We went with the dark blue option, but it's not nearly as dark as the pictures. Would've preferred the color in the photos, but we were pleasantly surprised with the level of heather in the fabric. Not a dealbreaker though.
-Quality/construction: The first couch we received had a major frame issue -- one side of the couch was too long so the frame didn't sit flush. All 4 legs didn't touch the ground, so we exchanged it. The replacement couch was much better -- solid wood frame and constructed well with no structural issues. Wasn't crazy about the staples at the bottom of the frame holding the upholstery, but not unusual for a couch at this price point.
-Assembly: Take 5-10 mins, very easy.
-Process: The order/delivery process was very easy and the delivery companies were communicative. Like I mentioned earlier, the first couch had major issues, so we had to schedule an exchange. The easy thing was that the delivery company took the first couch, so we didn't have to schedule 2 separate visits. A bit of a headache regardless, but made it relatively painless.
For folks on the fence, I would pull the trigger if you can get a good deal (less than $800, there are major price swings for this model), and if you're not married to the exact color in the photos.
I have admired this chair for quite some time and finally ordered. Im really disappointed with the chair in received. The color is much brighter than pictured and the dimensions listed are not accurate (its smaller in every direction).
I bought this couch because I was looking for a comfortable midrange couch that was stylish (specifically mid century modern) and high enough quality to last a few years. The less expensive couches that run like $300 felt too cheap and futon-esq, and I thought this would hit a nice balance without going over the $700 mark. I was worried because some reviews are quite negative, but if you look at the date, most of those are older - so I think must have made some improvements.
I mostly got the couch I wanted. I love the look - the green is definitely the right shade of off-emerald (if youre crazy like me and deeply worried about the color, Id say its Pantene shade PMS 350). Its not tacky but still stands out. I like the hardness of it - its firm but I can still enjoy lying on it a lot. It feels quite sturdy. Its well designed and easy to clean. Assembling it was literally screwing in the legs which took <2 mins.
A lot of people I trust have said wonderful things about the look of this couch. My one complaint is that it photographs as higher quality velvet than it looks and feels in person. Im worried it will show wear over time and look matted. Maybe its more chenille than velvet?
I think I am still happy I bought it, but if you have kids, a dog, or a messy SO, I might think twice about it.
Also - lost the couch the first time and I had to talk to several different people (a third party logistics company, customer support, etc) to solve it. But they gave me a 15% discount for the trouble and I still got it within 2 weeks so Ill let it slide.
Well, I had my hopes up! The thing came very well packaged and looks nice when you assemble it. (Easy as pie).
Issues start to arise immediately. My excitement faded quickly to oh no.
1) The ottoman doesn't attach to the main part. It just floats around. It gets out of place easily.
2) The ottoman cushion doesn't attach to the ottoman, when you sit on that part it raises up and eventually slides a bit out of position away from the back cushion.
3) The material is kind of scratchy and looks much more rustic than I expected. Also lighter colored. There are lots of white streaks in the material. It isn't a solid color at all. Looks like something from Pottery Barn. The material doesn't match the modern design at all.
4) The back cushion to the ottoman side ends up sitting several inches lower. I think because the long cushion isn't anchored to anything and every slides out and down.
I even bought the $1200 couch over the $800 thinking that would mean quality. I think most of my problems are about the ottoman (and the fabric).
Now I gotta figure out how to return it! Hope that is easy.
Peace.

Great sofa, bad shipping experience

low rider
Sofa is to low to the floor.
Looks great (from afar)

Happy with the sofa, but YMMV based on price

Solid mid century sofa
Good mid century style. Low back so be sure to measure your other pieces. I use this for staging and it is firm.
Disappointed

Ottoman side feels flimsy and the Fabric Color and texture are both disappointing.
