My husband and I are both pretty heavy people, but the item listing stated that the bed frame would hold a very high amount of weight (much higher that our combined weight) and would be quiet. This bed frame is very squeaky now and its pretty disappointing. We purchased this bed frame because it said that it held so much weight and that it was quiet, but that is not what we got. Yes, were fat, but the specs and ratings made me believe that the bed frame would function properly despite our weight. I guess it was just too good to be true. Maybe we will try to loose some weight and see if that makes a difference? BUT I will say that I do love the way the bed frame looks, so it does have that going for it. AND it has not fallen apart on us, so I guess thats a win, too.
This is a reasonably well made bed frame. it is sturdy and the finish is nice. it does squeek a bit during sex but it is otherwise stable during normal use.
Im young and buying things for a California king can get expensive, but this is a good price for this bed frame and its worked for a few months for me now. Still as sturdy as when I first put together. Took about an hour and a half because my living room is small and I had to make room to put it together.

This is a great sturdy frame but it came scratched up and with multiple small dents which is why its not getting 5 stars.
