This is a great bed frame for the price. It is basically a bed frame with a headboard. It is not a platform bed. You will need a base or boxsprings for this to work. I got a piece of plywood and fitted it and protected the 12 mattress and it sits perfectly. Its a stable bed and looks fantastic. Very modern looking and looks more expensive than it is. I like it and would by it again easily.
This was delivered and sat there for 3 weeks against the wall of my workplace since Ive been moving in and out. I was afraid the wooden parts would be broken like some reviews said. To my surprise, nothing fell apart. The platform bed is very sturdy to the point it is a pain to install the bed legs. I wish they redesign the part where you hook up the bed board to the bed frame.

The leather part is a great addition to the touch and adds that extra luxury. Its not too thin but not to thick either.

You unzip the back covering to get the parts out, and assembly is as simple as a few screws. It looks great in our guestroom, and would be at home in masculine or feminine furnishings.

If setting up by yourself it will take some time but worth it. For the cost, bed does not look cheap. My son loves it!!

Besides being the lightest shade of black, cloth and not leather, and a completely different bed frame all together, it looks halfway decent
