I assembled this bed on my own as a woman who is 57 and 154 lbs. It took me approximately 2 hours to complete. I was pleasantly surprised that the bed was delivered via FEDEX, 8 days earlier than projected, with both boxes being delivered together. I love it!
Caveat: I highly recommend having a drill handy as the wooden slats requires being held down by screws, and trust me, theres a lot of screws! It came with all the tools needed to assemble (minus the phillips head screw drives) in labeled units. I couldnt be happier with my purchase. Thank you!
So pretty! Got the king size and simply ordered a box spring so that the mattress would line up properly. There will be a gap if you dont have a box spring underneath the mattress. Worth every penny (make sure you get a box spring!)
Item is well made for assembled furniture price is fair. Use a screw gun with Allen key tip to make assembly easier due to tight turning with tool given.
Great bed. This bed is so much better than the $1,100 bed I previously owned. Its sturdy, cute, and quiet. No need to worry about noise when certain adult activities arise. I put it together in about 45. Used 12 inch mattress, no box spring. Delivered 2 days before promised delivery date.
So the bed is very pretty and its sturdy too. HOWEVER.We have a King mattress and ordered a King frame. As you can see in the pictures, our mattress is too small for the frame so there are gaps.takes away from the overall look of the bed and well just flat out irritates me.
