Not the sturdiest bed but for the price it is so worth it / it hasnt broken on me. Ive had mine for over 2 years now and its been great! But not a long term bed frame option. Will but this in the extra bedroom eventually!
This bed was very affordable, and I did not expect great quality, but it surprisingly was very well made. It is the typical press board but I am 325 pounds and it has stood up quite well after 2 months
This thing is great! I love the look of it, and it holds up well to vigorous activities The only downsides I can think of:
1) it is a bit lower than I would prefer (boyfriend is 64 and I am 59) so when we get out of bed its a little on the low side. The mattress we put on it is 12 thick, so a good portion of the headboard still shows.
2) because it is low there s not too much clearance under the bed for extra storage. Thin boxes would fit, but nothing like the totes I stored under my other bed
3) it takes awhile to put together and has several pieces. I am an experienced putter/together/er and it took me a couple hours to assemble with an extra person needed for some of the assembly to hold parts. You will need a drill to put the slats on the frame
The color is beautiful and light, perfectly neutral. The silver nail heads are shiny and compliment my lamps perfectly.
Very pretty bed! The first one came damaged, but we were sent a new one immediately. I was nervous about ordering a bed online, but Im happy with it. I wasnt sure if it would work with the adjustable base we just bought, but it fits around it just fine.
Amazing product for a good price! So elegant, luxury style. Totally as described. Easy to assemble, It took 1 hour. The biggest tip that I can give is before putting the parts together, divide all the small parts into groups according to the manuel guide. It will help you so much during the assemble. (I shared a picture about how we did) then follow the steps by one by. I highly recommend this product.
The bed looks better in person than on the pictures! Very elegant and you have about 6 inches between the bed and floor to store shoe boxes! That was a bonus for me! It was super easy to assemble BUT ours came without instructions! I was a little disappointed about that! We just were lucky cause our friend helped us so he was giving us instructionsi ordered a 5inch box spring and a regular mattress with pillow top! I didnt want a super high bed anymore! Best purchase ever and the price is unbeatable!
Looks nice once assembled but takes hours to put together. When assembled, the frame might be slightly crooked. I bought wider thicker boards (3/4 thick x 6 wide) and cut them to length because I thought the included slats for supporting the mattress were flimsy. The wider replacement slates were cut on a miter saw at exact 90 degree cuts. When I put them on the frame I saw the frame was assembled slightly crooked.
