This is a solid little cabinetBut its too short and the instructions arent clear enough. As a result I got it put together backwards and the shelf didnt fit right. I rigged it to fit the shelf and spray painted bricks to rest the cabinet on to give it some height. It was intended to be a coffee/tea service, but was way too short as it was for that. That was my fault for not reading the dimensions correctly in the first place. Considering that I had to make modifications for the shelf because the instructions were not specific enough (it doesnt show you that you have to have the boards a specific way which makes all the difference because unless you know what youre looking for youll get it wrong). I am very skilled at this stuff, so the fact that even I didnt see this is disturbing and cost 2 stars.
As far as quality and appearance, its an adorable and sturdy piece. I still love it anyway.
I am impressed with the detail that was given in labeling all the parts. For instance, the screws were separated into separate bags and the bags labeled according to the assembly instructions. Each piece of wood was clearly marked. I think it took me about an hour to put together and that was with the help of my 3 year old twins! Once assembled, the piece is really pretty. The color is rich, door slide easily. I am very happy with this purchase. The cabinet is a little on the small side so pay attention to the measurements. It was smaller than I expected but actually worked perfectly in the room. I would buy from this manufacturer/vendor again.
