Easy to assemble but the doors were scratched

The product was easy to assemble- assembly instructions were adequate and easy to understand. There was a big scuff mark and scratches on one of the doors- so that was a bummer. Didnt notice until the unit was already put together.

    Great visual appeal

I read most of the reviews so I knew what I was getting into. It is less sturdy than I thought it would be, but I do not have any fears of putting items into it or it falling on my dog. Here are my tips for when you go to build it. 1. Piece 5 and the two pieces nunbered 6 may need some adjustment so make sure the grooves align. Do not be in a hurry to lock in the pieces with the cam lock part B before you are sure that all the pieces in the frame are aligned properly. 2. When you slide the back panels on to the botto shelf part, i put some of the packing styrofoam to lift the piece so that I could make sure the panels stayed in the grooves when I was trying to bolt the bottom panel (piece 2) to the frame. 3. Before setting piece 1 on the top, I would screw in the door stopper (part E) first. It is not easy to do it the way they recommend. 4. I would look at your doors to see which two pair together the best. My two sets did not match at all so it did not really matter, but one matching looked better than the other. 5. Another reviewer suggested not tightening the screws for the doors until you have everything aligned. This was a great tip. 6. Be careful peeling off the stickers. This laminate is such poor quality that it ripped off when i carefully peeled off the sticker. Luckily it is on the interior, but it is irritating and made me wonder how long this piece will stay looking nice. The top already came a little damaged. I am too lazy to figure out hiw to request a replacement part and I am definitely not going to re-build this. I will probably put a vase over the spot.

    Well made, as described.

The product was exactly as described in color, size, and quality. It looks great as a dining room piece. The amount of available storage is really useful on the inside.

    Great Buffet Fehr the Money!

Once assembled, this unit is delightful to look at, immensely practical (especially as an office credenza), and very sturdy. Its no more difficult to assemble than any other assemble-yourself furniture, and I was able to easily do it myself. If you like the way it looks, then I highly recommend you purchase this great buffet/credenza.

    Im sad

I was anxious about the cabinet. According to the picture, I felt was it would be awesome and a great match for my beautiful dining table. But after it was assembled I am so disappointed. It is very weak and cheap looking in comparison to the dining table. I want to return it or put it up for sale. My heart is grieving. Now I will have to replace it. No more furniture for me.

    I would buy again

Would have given 5 stars if the glass was a little tinted. But its thin and completely transparent.

    A lot of pieces

Mine looked just as shown when finished. It took longer than it should have. I originally emailed , asking for a replacement part on August 24th. The seemingly automated response, replied I would get a quicker response if I ordered the part directly and directed me where to do so. However it just said that it would speed the process. I lost my nephew the week I got it and just had more important things going on. Life is that way. I emailed on 10/1 that though I know ordering would speed up, I still expected some sort of response to the email. I was upset and as I work in customer service for a living expected more. I got a reply the next day. They were were out of the well nut. But to make up for things, offered to resend the whole unit. I just got in 10/8 It is a different color, white rather than my black one. But I just needed the part. Put it in my cabinet and all is well. It took me just over an hour to put together minus hanging the last 2 doors. It was awkward for a woman who is 5 foot 4 inches, but I managed. Laminate has came a long way. And for some companies this shows cosmetically. Not the case here. It seems to scratch fairly easily. And I know to be careful. But it is solid and will hold up for my purposes. I had priced cheaper units at the Swedish warehouse store, but the looks and style did not compare for the price. As for as the holes in the wrong place. I have noticed many prefab kits are classified as wont fit by people who dont assemble things often. I just waited on tightening the hinges. And all went well and the finished product looks lovely. A good look for the price and sized and shown. I really love I have a place to hide, my pantry, items. I have a studio lacking in storage. This was a great by. And I am glad to have purchased this. And would do it again.

    Great Inexpensive Piece

This is a great inexpensive piece. All pieces came intact and the manufacturer even provides spare hardware which is nice. The instructions were easy to follow and everything was labelled very well. It took me about 2hrs to assemble alone (petite woman). With furniture like this its important to take your time and be certain not to overscrew any pieces that would cause damage. Aligning the doors was the trickiest bit but with an extra person it might be easier.

    Meets Expectations

If youre in need of some light storage that has a bit of style for not a lot of money, this cabinet will work perfectly. I took my time unboxing and inspecting each piece and found 1 or 2 very minor imperfections that disappeared once it was put together. Its NOT a sturdy item so if you re-arrange your furniture a lot or if you move into a new place every year be careful because the finished product flexes quite a bit when moving. TAKE YOUR TIME building it, pay attention to the parts labeling, parts look alike but theyre labeled for a reason. I used a ratcheted screwdriver which HELPS A LOT especially if youre building it alone. I strongly recommend giving the tiny black screws, that attach the bracket which holds the door in place a few turns to get them started. There are already pre drilled pilot holes for these but youre going to want to do this, trust me. The doors will go on easier and theyll align with perfection. See the close up picture. The finished product looks great. A piece of glass to protect the top would help make it look like an expensive piece of furniture.
