Its a flat pack box - the veneer is pretty plastic. I needed a mix of white and wood grain- this works well. Its not super high quality but its a nice look.
Overall, its a great look and Im satisfied. But- its pretty hard to get an even gap around each door- the hinges are tough to adjust. It takes some skill to get a good looking result.

Box came in looking like it had been through a tough journey. After opening it, noticed the hardware box inside had also been open, the instructions were missing and all the pieces were shoved in one side of the box ( obviously opened and returned). Found the instructions on line. Its a shame it came with all kinds of scratches and I cant do much about it because its particle board. A black sharpie helped on the black part. Its very cute and has good space. If I didnt need the storage so desperately, Id exchange it for one in better shape.
Works well in our mud-room for extra storage. Actually, it is quite a large room and modern in decor. There is slight loss of color/white paint where the top meets the front edges. Likely, I am the only one who will ever notice it.
I am very happy with my purchase. Looks really nice considering price was so low. Box weighed a ton. Thank you to driver who left it outside my door and not in the lobby. Offers tons of storage behind closed doors. Main cabinet was easy to assemble, if you have assembled furniture before and know to really look at pictures and not just read instructions. Hardest part for me was installing top magnetic door catches because I kept dropping the screws. Solved problem by installing screws without catch first to make holes bigger, and then removing and reinstalling. Lining up doors was easy with cordless drill. Just loosen and tighten till you are happy. Loving it, just need some art to hang above it!
I think overall it looks nicer than you would expect for the price. The doors dont stay closed because the magnetic part doesnt line up great. I have a black rubber band around the door handles so it stays shut.
Its very heavy in the box! Clear instructions. Not hard to assemble. Love the look. Its even prettier in person. Quality materials. Very happy and looks great in my dining area.
