I had a 12 inch mattress on this day bed. I didnt like that at all! You could not see the back of the day bed, which is the only thing that helps make this day bed look like a couch, which is what I was going for. Im trying to make this look more like a couch. So, I put a 6 inch mattress on it from Zinus. Looks much better! One more tip thats not really related to this product if you ever order a memory foam mattress, NEVER EVER unzip the cover. Its full of fiberglass. I just did some research on that. OMG It destroys lives. Anyways, back to this product
This day bed is very sturdy and the material is good quality. I am ordering another one.
I waited a full year to write review. So far it has held up and nothing has broken, no squeaks, etc. I am a 170lb grandma for reference.
My problem is that I thought from the photo that grey was in fact grey. So I purchased grey rug (see photo), and bedding to match the photo. Unfortunately, after my son/in/law assembled it for me, I realized it was NOT grey. It is TAN with brown legs. Now nothing matches. Too much hassle to disasseble and return. Also, if your mattress is a decent thickness it wont look like the picture. In order to look like the pic youd have to have a 6 or less mattress. The trundle also must have a thin mattress to closeMy 2nd mattress would not fit on trundle so for now I store bedding and pillows under there. Its space saving and comfortable though. In order to use it like a sofa you have to have ALOT of pillows because of the width of a twin bed. Then you have to find a place to store all those pillows. Just dont buy stuff to match til you see it in person. Overall I like it but beware of the color.
Ok so full disclosure my husband cant put anything together! But he did this! In a couple hours! The directions if you follow slowly and carefully are very good the couch is ADORABLE! We are extremely happy! Very very cute! And exactly what we needed for guests and couch perfect!
GREAT/ I had a very limited budget but wanted something to elevate the look of my twin mattress that would be fun, sturdy and stylish. This bed frame ticked all my boxes! Very sturdy base. I had to hire two guys to assemble it; dozens of pieces, not for the faint/hearted in that it was time consuming to put together, but not difficult.
A must have: an electric screwdriver. I LOVE this bed frame and feel lucky to have found it for a ridiculously low price!
Its easy to get together. It took me about an hour and 45 minutes to put it together all by myself. This frame is beautiful, sturdy, and value for the buck. Please dont let the negative reviews deter you from buying this piece of furniture.
This frame is aming. It took me 3hrs to put it together by myself but it was pretty easy. Seems sturdy. (Im 59 320lbs by the way). It came with instructions and is very dummy proof . Im definitely happy with this purchase.
Color was not as expected but this color has grown on me too. Easy to assemble.one person can do it in less than a hour. I love the details about it and everything. Im happy with it
