I love this bed! Ive had it now for a couple of months now. Everything from the color (a golden brass) to how sturdy it is, this bed was a great buy. Ive always wanted a canopy bed since I was a kid and saw my cousins have them.
Though the bed was a little challenging to put together, my mom and I completed assembly I think within 2/3 hours. I believe it had more to do with us being exhausted then the actual bed lol.
At 280 pounds, I dont feel overly nervous about sleeping on this bed or worried its gonna come crashing down. Ive had my cat sleep with me and a friend that has laid on it with me.
I got the queen size version of this bed. I cant wait to decorate it a little more with some twinkle lights and a light curtain to drape over it.
While this review is long overdue, I figure better late than never. And I guess some people would appreciate a long/term retrospective on this bed frame. Ive been sleeping on the bed frame for over three years now. And yes, that means its held up for over three years. It even survived one move.
But that being said, its not sturdy at all for bed activities, if you know what I mean. It sways and squeaks incessantly. Ive taken it apart a few times, tighten the bolts, even lubricated then with grease. Still noisy.
Furthermore the stapling underneath the upholstery pops out, which is dangerous because you can easily cut yourself on it when getting in and out of bed. I find myself having to take a hammer and pounding them back into place.
But all that aside, itll be fine if you dont nothing else in your bed besides sleep. Its also cheap, so its ideal for a guest bedroom or realtors for staging homes.
This bed met my expectations. After reading the reviews, set/up went smoothly since we were aware of potential problems, we were able to avoid them. My only complaint is the deceptive advertising photo that shows a 6 inch mattress on top. The picture is more visually appealing that way, however it doesnt portray accurately what the daybed looks like with the recommended 8 inch mattress. See my picture with a new 8 mattress on top, and compare it with the 3rd picture in the photos from the listing.
I cannot recommend this bed enough! I got it for my sons room and it has been so great for him! The quality of this product is so great! I tell people the price of this bed and they do not believe me! I have seen beds that cost 3x the price not be as great of quality. Its also so cute! It fits a twin xl mattress very snugly.
This is one of the best purchases Ive ever made and I plan to buy another bed from this brand for my daughter soon!
Ordered this for my daughters revamp of her room. Her and I put it together ourselves in about an hour. Instructions were great, there was just 1 piece at the end we couldnt get screws in but its sturdy and stable without them and she loves it
These were for my daughters so that they could hang curtains on them to make them like a fort style bed. They absolutely love them. Only complaint is they take a while to assemble them.
