My daughter was ready for a bed upgrade and now that she is at an age for sleepovers, we thought that a bunk bed was the ideal option. Assembly took me about an hour by myself and once constructed it is very sturdy and seems very well made. The white color is nice because it helps to brighten her room. I think my only complaint would be the ladder being a little difficult since it is completely vertical but even that is being very nit picky since it is a space saving bed. This bed set will likely work well for my daughter for many years to come. As a bunk bed until she is 13ish and after that, as separate twins.
The Dylan twin bunk bed looks great in my son's room. The white color looks good against his blue walls and is a bright white that matches the trim and baseboards. My husband assembled this in a couple hours with help from my son. It is made of wood and has a sturdy feel to it. The bright white and the slats on the head and foot boards give it a open feel and a modern look. It fits well in his medium sized room and doesn't take up to much space so he has plenty of room for his toys and to play. Another plus is that the bed can be used as two separate twin beds. Put together the bed is approximately 44 inches wide, 79 inches in length and 63 inches tall. says to use a standard twin-sized coil spring mattresses only and that the mattress should be between 5 and 6 inches thick. We picked up a couple of twin spring bunk bed mattresses from SAM's club that work perfect. It has an attached ladder that has four stairs and my 6 year old son has no problems climbing up it. Overall I'm pretty pleased with the bunkbed especially for the price point it is at, I feel it is a good value. My only complaint and I why I did not give it 5 stars is the 165lb weight limit. I was unaware of this when I ordered it and occasionally my 6 year old will ask me to lay in bed with him for a few minutes before he goes to sleep. Just be aware of this and for toddlers this may be something to think about, other than that I am very pleased with this bunkbed and my son loves it!
I love these bunk beds!
My daughter has wanted bunk beds for a while for when she starts having sleepovers and this set is so cute that I couldn't pass it up. The white color is perfect for any room and does not feel overtly feminine to me- you could easily use these for a boys room.
I love the versatility of having traditional bunk beds or having the option of having 2 separate beds.
These beds are great quality and feel sturdy.
It took my husband and I a couple of hours to get these beds put together. It was a fairly easy process after we took out and organized all the pieces and parts.
I would recommend these to anyone- these beds can work with any decor and should hold up well. I do wish they had a higher weight limit but I think my daughter will get many years of use out of them.
The bed is really nice and seems like a good quality item. It does have a weird smell and its day 3. Praying that it will go away soon while my sons air purifier and windows are on 24/7. Other than the smell, I really like this bed!
Great buy for price but instructions could use a tweaking.
1- don't put the slats on until the end. You will be removing some to complete the ladder
2- PAY UTMOST ATTENTION TO THE NOTCHES ON THE SIDE RAILS. The ladder placement depends on it.
3- if you are using a foam mattress and not innerspring you will need a bunkie board for both levels.
4- yes it can accommodate a mattress that is 8 inches however you lose A LOT of safety rail. Buy a 1-2 inch bunkie board and then 4 inch mattress.
Another note- holy cow stickers! Plan on spending hours removing labels.
A little disappointed. We just opened the box to assemble and saw an espresso colored bed when we ordered a white one. Let's see how the rest goes. I would return except I have family coming in less than two days. Clashes with the paint :/
Very sturdy. I LOVE it except for the wood slats that the MATTRESSES SIT ON. They are very dangerous with sharp edges. MY BOYS WILL SURELY BE HURT BY THESE!
The instructions were poor and led to my friend and I having to redo a couple steps. Actually I think we got one wrong/mislabeled piece as well but it made a small cosmetic difference and I didnt want to wait for a replacement.
It took time to assemble but was not difficult (definitely requires at least 2 people though). The end result is BEAUTIFUL! Looks great in my daughters' room! And they love them!
Great looking bunk bed with a slight modern look but using traditional wood construction. Assembly was fairly straightforward and there were no missing parts. All the parts fit together well and the frame is quite sturdy. The white finish gives it a clean appearance. If you have kids they will love this bed.
