Just moved into a new home so I got all new furniture which included beds for my children. My husband and I fixed the beds and noticed the part to actually make them bunk beds were off. Meaning the holds were drilled in the wrong places to stack the beds to make them bunk beds. I do like that then are very sturdy. I just wanted the bunk feature to create more space in my boys room.
I thought this is a great bunk bed. It is strong and great solid wood quality. I am 170 pounds and I tested the top bed for a week before I let my 6-year-old son sleep on it and I have no problem. My wife and I together weighted over 300 pounds tested the bottom bed for a week and we have no problem either. This is because the bottom bed has 3 legs in the middle to support the Full mattress.
I received the bunk bed with some wood cracks on the head/foot board. Its too much of a hassle to return as its a huge item. Everything else was fine. I will have to just purchase a small L bracket to enforce the sturdiness where the crack is. Seems like quality wasnt the priority for this item. Overall instructions for the bed assembly was easy to follow.

My son is 45 pounds and while going up the ladder his foot gets pinched, contacted customer service and they are useless and rude.

Easier if have two people to put together
Slats a bit harder to keep together. I glued them and that worked
