I like this bunk bed bed however with the mattresss we have the beds are too short at one end so the mattress falls between the wooden rails that holds it up. The sides are also a little flimsy per say but are holding up so far for my rough boys
Great bed, very sturdy. The only complaint I have is the steps arent very safe. Theyre very small and close to the bed not giving much room to actually step on. The slats are also sideways instead of down so we had to buy plywood to add safety.
This thing is built solid! All the pieces fit like they should. I was missing no hardware. One piece had a small dent in the wood, but nothing that concerned me. The instructions were absolutely great, which made assembly a breeze. I can't imagine that you could find anywhere close to this quality for this price in another brand. I had shipping issues initially due to a lost package, and I almost cancelled my order, but I am sure glad I waited and get this bed.
I bought this bed for my 2 older sons 8 and 4). This bed is perfect! My husband said it was a little hard to put together because of the stickers that came on each piece (they were confusing). It took him about 4 hours to assemble. The wood slats that it comes with are very spaced apart so you will need a sturdy base, we went with bunkie boards and they work great!
The bed comes in one long box (its quite heavy). I didnt have the same problem some of the other reviewers had with the bed being damaged. All of our pieces were in working order. We ordered the twin over twin mocha colored. The color is darker in person but its looks really nice and the wood is very quality.
I think the only things Id recommend are a sturdy base for the mattress, and some grip tape for the bunk bed ladder as it is quite slippery!
This is an awesome bed and Im really happy with my purchase!
Is it worth it? No.
It's more expensive than some metal frames that are sturdier, have better mattress support, and have space under the bottom bunk and more space between the bunks.
So, this frame doesn't have space under the bottom bunk. The space between the top and bottom is so small my 4 hear old can't sit up straight on the bottom bunk.
The mattress support sucks. Not going to sugar coat that one. Went out to buy 3 sheets of plywood to correct that. I had to nail a sheet underneath the top bunk to 1. cover the unsightly view of the top support planks, and 2. to prevent an accidental head bump to the corner of a piece of wood.
Still, it was cheaper than most wood frames and looks cute.
Is it worth it? No.
I should have bought a cheaper metal fram with better support and just dealt with the fact that it wasn't as cute as a wooden one.
This is a pretty good bed but after a month or so it started to really wiggle. Now every time my child moves on the top bunch the bed rocks. It makes me nervous. We will be reinforcing it to get it more secure.
The frame bolts would not connect at first. Had to maneuver them around for about 30 mins. Instructions could have been better. But all in all not bad for the price.
Aside from the fact it took my husband 2 days to get this tri bunk bed together and he had to fix some structural issues in the process...Its a great bed. We have a teen, tween, and a toddler and they all love the bed. Its soft wood so it has to be sanded and repainted but as far as the sturdiness goes it is perfect.

Great bed with some alterations
