    Surface chipping

The cabinet was purchased to put in my kitchen. Putting it together moved right along until I tried to install the lower cupboard doors. The hinge placements didn't allow either door to close. I tried turning the doors upside down, thinking there was an error in the holes drilled but nothing lined up. I ended up having to drill new holes and chisel the space for the hinge to get the doors to line up. Not such a biggie, but frustrating. Once the cabinet was in the kitchen and filled with dishes, I noticed the finish was chipped on the outside of the left center shelf. It was small and I thought I would just put a little paint there but it's gotten bigger. Tonight I rearranged some of the dishes and there is a large area where the white surface is chipped off. The whole top of the center shelf is cracked and in no time it will all flake off. To take the cabinet apart and ship back would be difficult and probably very expensive, so here I am with a costly cabinet that is low quality. Very disappointed to say the least. If I touch it at all it flakes off. I'm going to have to sand it and paint it, which I shouldn't have to do, and not quite sure how that will look. Totally bummed!

    Definitely worth the money

The pantry was very easy to assemble and pictures were clearly labeled. It took me about 2 hours to assemble. It is definitely whats in the picture and whats described. The only issue we have with it is that the doors are off a little bit. Other than that we are very happy.

    Great for a pantry!

This is fantastic. We recently bought a new house, and one of the main flaws was a lack of pantry space. This looks nice, and the storage capacity is amazing. We store all of our food in the top, our large kitchen appliances in the bottom, and use the drawer for placemats, napkins, etc. such a good buy. Highly recommend!

Nice storage pantry for the price

We have a small secondary kitchen with limited storage area, so this cabinet fit the bill. It arrived one day earlier from Fedex than promised in 2 similarly sized boxes (about 36 x 20). Each weighed about 50 lbs, but since the boxes were not as huge as I was fearing, I was able to drag them in without much of a problem. I had to unpack both boxes because the instructions came in box 2 and as you put it together, you use parts from both boxes intermittently. Luckily, each piece was labeled with a little sticker that corresponded to the instructions. The hardware was well labeled with each type of component in a separate labeled bag. The instructions are simply pictures - no words, so as other reviewers have mentioned, look at the picture carefully and use the parts that are called for in each step, making sure you orient them in the correct way. Some of the parts look exactly alike with exception of perhaps a small hole, so be careful. I put together the cabinet myself in about 2 hours using a philips screwdriver and a flathead screwdriver. No other tools were necessary. Fortunately, all the pre-drilled screw holes did line up and I didn't see any paint chipping, cracks or scuffs as others have seen. One of the cabinet doors didn't quite line up, so I had to do some finagling with the hinges to line it up better. This is about a quarter inch space between the two top doors, but for my use-case that's acceptable. Also when screwing the hinge onto the cabinet doors, it's easy to strip. I was careful not to screw in the hinges too tight. The quality is okay. I'd rate it one step below Ikea quality. I believe everything is made of laminated particle board. Everything seems solid enough, but only time will tell. I wouldn't use this cabinet for a bunch of heavy items, but 20 lbs per shelf seems appropriate. The one thing I wish this came with is adjustable feet so I could better level the cabinet. The feet that come with it are just plastic disks that nail into the bottom.

    My kids could do this!!

Ok so it took me a day to do this only because I was literally doing 1millon things around the house. My kids helped me put it together if that helps with how difficult it was . I read all the reviews about laying all parts out first and that was super helpful. I imagine if I took my time it wouldnt take that long to get together. All we used was a screw driver flat head and Phillips

    Has its ups and downs.

So I like this because of the price and overall look, but you really cant install it yourself. Weve bought and built 3. Each one has alignment issues which is really a design flaw. The top portion as a permanent shelf you cant adjust. I wish it was adjustable as it has cause 2 of them to not be able to use all the shelves included causing wasted space.

Awesome outcome 4 MY TIME!! LOVE IT

I like everything about this piece. What I disliked was because of the way it was packed had a long Crack in top part of cabinet. Directions didn't tell you what tools to use. I suggest using wood glue for a more sturdy unit. Doors took a lil finesse for them to look almost perfect... I'm not picky I can use wood putty to fix the Crack. Considering how everything came together... took me 4 to 6 hours. I took my time. If u r quick to put it together, it can look bad and not line up right.
