I slept on a mattress on the floor for 7yrs

So Im a particular person and already have problems with sleeping I have since I was little of just not sleeping, well anyways after my oldest was born we broke down an old frame we been given from someone because it needed a box spring (I hate box springs and the noise they make after a year of use not worth it in my opinion), which squeak and kept me up most of the night from bounciness and the noise. So years of sleeping on the floor a good year of taxes and I finally decided to look for a real bed. I looked from December to February loooking for anything thats not too modern, Boring or useless. By the end I felt I was not going to have any hair or good night sleep, looking on American sites, non American sights anything to catch my eye, make use of anything? So much that were cool and had no real purpose to them (I dont need a bed with LED color changing lights I need functionality). So after what felt like too much searching for a bed I stumbled across this frame on a different site, loving so much before purchasing anything I always check to see if they have it, they obviously did, the better part about this story is I didnt even really notice on the website (cause it was only on 1 photo) that the frame had a headboard that the website gave me no clues about what its called and how to find it, so I did any functioning person would do... I googled it. Alas they gave me an answer I seemed, after already knowing the mattress I was getting (puffy and loving it!) doing research on the frame and head board I found them both on and I couldnt figure out what size bed I wanted til said sorry I only got a king, so I went with a king and couldnt be anymore happier with this decision! Good bed but company is not through with there packaging.

I ordered this bed directly from the supplier. It came in a decent amount of time. Packaging was good. My only complainys are that it was very hard to put together. The holes did not always line up and we were missing hardware from one of the boxes. We were also missing the middle support legs. The parts did not arrive for several days so we had to sleep on the couch for days. But once we got it together it was beautiful and sturdy.

    Beautiful Looking Pine Bed

Great bed for a storage-challenged room/house. It looks great too! Assembly will take about 8-12 hours and make sure you assemble it in the room it will live in Also................make sure you do an inventory of EVERY piece in each of the 4 boxes before you assemble the bed. Because pine is very soft check all pieces for cracks and splits too! On a side note the compartments/drawers are at ground level .................so we pretty much ended up using the drawers/compartments for long-term storage items rather than for items we would need to be access on a daily basis.......our backs are not what they used to be

This bed is gorgeous and study

It's beautiful, and I'm quite happy with the purchase. But there were a couple of moments while putting it together that I had my worries. The boxes come labelled with which to create first, and the assorted screws/nails/etc were nicely separated into bags and labeled. However, in a couple of cases there were not enough of one type of screw, or pieces (like the metal stop for the side cabinets) were missing. Also, the holes were not all set up with precision, so some pieces didn't fit together easily. Nothing you can't handle if you've put together enough of these types of furniture, but definitely something that would throw a beginner. And the instructions are solely pictures, but the pictures are small and no detail shots to let you know you have the pieces arranged correctly. As far as the bed itself once complete, the wood is lovely and it came well packaged and without any damage. On a design note, one thing I didn't think about before hand was the distance down to the pull out tray. I thought this would be nice to use at night in place of nightstands. But if you have a tall mattress, the trays are too far down to use. There's nothing the designers would be able to do to change this, as the trays are already at the top of the section. But its basically at the bottom of your mattress. For me, this is 12 inches down. That's quite a drop when you are attempting to put down a glass or book from bed. Overall though, it is a great bed and I love it.

    Nice modern-looking, sturdy bed

Assembly instructions were thorough but it was a challenge to assemble; however, I was able to assemble it by myself in about 6 hours. It's a very nice looking bed. I have had many compliments on it. It's very sturdy and well made.

Pay for someone else to assemble it!

I really enjoy the storage space and it looks nice and organized. I wish I would have paid the additional fee to have someone else put it together for me. It took 3 days to complete the assembly.

    Very Classy, Very Solid!

I finally found the perfect solid wood bed for my 8 year old son that I do not need to replace as he grows! I really needed storage that would grow with him but I didn't want the standard bed with just big drawers. The Bali bed is just perfect. It works great for his toys right now and I can see him using it for books etc as he gets older. I love the color - it's a lovely, warm caramel - and finish. I was worried when it arrived because the boxes came separately, looked pretty banged up and one of them was actually open! Amazingly there was nothing missing and zero scratches!! It was also pretty easy to put together - took a while but DH assembled it while watching tv in one, long evening. My son loves his grown-up bed too and now his big sister wants to swap beds with him:D

    Time Consuming ... See Below

1st. Well Crafted. 2nd. Not easy to set up, takes a lot of time, instructions are lengthy. 3rd. Not all the parts shipped with the 4 containers they arrive in. I had to request parts (specifically told them by item what was missing) to which they sent the wrong parts, followed by another email requesting the correct parts, and still the incorrect parts arrived. So I finished the bed with an assortment of my own screws to make it work. It is a very beautiful bed with lots of space that takes time to put together and the company cant pull its tail out of its (insert body part) to get the order right.

    Great product with some oversight

I do like the product. It is a pretty solid build. Spare at least half a day building this. I am going to warn there are many many small pieces and some either due to the company or delivery came chipped and broken. Also I am not the only one but I am missing some key parts to finish this bed and now I have a waste of furniture that I can't use or simple move into a corner. Waiting on how the company will plan on fixing this issue. Will update the review as soon as I see how they plan to resolve this issue in a timely manner. The wood and the compartments are very useful. I do reccomend the product as my issues don't take away from the overall quality and others might have better luck.

Yes, long assembly. Yes, nice bed once you're done.

The bed arrives in 4 boxes. We received 3. The 4th arrived a few days later, minus several parts from a damaged box. The manufacturer was super responsive in getting our missing parts shipped, but then the UPS shipping center lost our box for a couple of days. Our 6-8 hour assembly project took a couple of weeks. Yes, it was frustrating, but the delays were really on the carrier, not the manufacturer. You assemble matching side sections and a foot section. Then you connect it all together with the center support and slats. Pay very close attention to the orientation of each board. Count the holes, make sure they match the drawing, notice if screw holes are closer on one end of a board than the other. The directions are quite clear. You can see the small differences. Just don't think both sides/ends of a board are the same. If you take your time and keep double-checking boards and hardware are oriented correctly, you'll end up with a great bed.
