Very easy to put together and very strong. Folding panel lets the surface grow when you need more space. This unit has really expanded our kitchen counter areas without taking up much floor. Looks great too
I managed to put the whole thing together by myself until it was time to lift the top on. Its pretty heavy and Im not very big. As you can see the doors arent level, they come with the hinges already attached so it wasnt an error on my part. Other than that, itll do what I intended. Storage and actually more space in the kitchen. The dining table is being taken out and this will replace it. The dining table will go into the dining room, where it belongs.
I rarely review products, just don't have the time. This product gets an A-Plus in every aspect. Excellent packaging that kept if from arriving damaged, easy to follow, simple directions, very, very well designed. I've assembled A LOT of furniture over the years and this one went together like a charm. Every part was clearly labeled and there were a lot of parts. Suggestion, I laid out everything before I started and that helped also. I could not be more pleased with this cart. Looks fantastic!
I just received this and set it up this evening. It took about 3 hours, so give yourself plenty of time to set it up, directions are pretty easy to follow, my only difficulty was in locking everything into place. I had to use a hammer, but it looks like you should just be able to push the locks down with your fingers. This island cart looks really good, matches pretty much any decor, and seems sturdy. The wheels also lock into place once you have it in a spot you like.
Bought this for my Sewing Room. Its a small room so the added drop leaf for cutting out fabrics for my quilting is a big plus and then it stows away nicely! Love it!
I LOVE this island! It is everything we needed in a kitchen island/cart. I only put 4 stars because there were some scratches/chips (probably from packing the pieces into the box), and the wheels should be better quality. They're a very thick and seemingly sturdy plastic, but there's no rubber so there's no grip. Two of the wheels do lock, but if you accidentally bump the island it will move. Other than the wheels and a couple of chips and scratches, it is perfect!

the hinges for the flip-up need replaced they are way to cheep , actually bent at the screw holes letting the flip-up sag !!
