Installation was easy, and very sturdy. The storage underneath have no guides, so they dont line back up easily. Still a good overall purchase. Especially for the price.
It took a long time to assemble by myself. They say it only takes an hour but thats a gross underestimation. If they fused some of the smaller pieces to the frame so it was 6 pieces instead of 11 I could see the assembly taking only an hour. Despite the long assembly its beautiful and sturdy. I am very happy with this purchase.
There are several reasons why Im giving this a low review.
1) The box that it came in was badly damaged and almost open. It wouldnt be a big deal if I werent missing pieces but I am.
2) The instructions are confusing and almost none of the constituent parts of the bed frame were numbered so its been very difficult and frustrating to set it up.
3) Its not advertised that it takes two people to set it up. Im on hour eight of trying to put this bed frame together and if I knew it would take more than one person to set it up, I wouldnt have bought it.
4) The middle floor rod doesnt touch the floor at all. Its completely useless.
5) The shelves are on wheels which is a nice touch, but they arent even screwed in. You have to put the wheels in by sliding them from the side and putting a screw through the middle, but theres no screw hole in the middle of the wheel itself so Ive had the pleasure of crying out of sheer frustration because they keep sliding out.
6) The screws are different sizes. Even the ones that are labeled similarly have different screw sizes and the screw box thing is very very difficult to open. And many of them dont even fit in the holes so you have to substitute some other screws where it says to use a different one.
7) This bed frame is massive. It takes up all of the small space in my bedroom and I cant even really walk around it because its that big.
But Im going to use this bed frame out of spite for the seller and the hours Ive spent trying to figure out these convoluted instructions that reference numbers that arent placed on the parts of the frame. This has been one of the most frustrating and needlessly stressful experiences of my move thus far and I regret buying it 10000
Was originally a 1/star review simply because I was missing one T/spacer to complete my drawer and customer service took days to respond. But upon receiving my T/spacer and completing my bed, I have upped it to 5 stars. Very sturdy bed. Great for my amerisleep mattress
