Its short. Like/ the top of the headboard doesnt even reach my hip. The picture instructions, because god forbid they actual hire a technical writer to give adequate instructions, leave much to be desired. Had to reassemble 3 times/ and STILL have 2 parts backwards so the arent secure in two places. Therefore we constantly are pushing them in and stubbing toes.
Shipping/Packaging: Package came within one week of placing order. Comes in one long heavy box. Our box was a little torn up and a couple drawer parts were bent but it may have been more to handling that manufacturing. Parts were very well wrapped and protected.
Installation: This bed took an hour to set up. While my wife set up my brother and I set up the bed. Instructions are clear and package brings tools but it can be done much quicker with drill and personal hex key. Package also brings spare parts.
Storage : are bigger than we expected. They can hold two of our former nightstand contents and there is still space left over. also have nice locking system to keep them from opening when you close them.
Dislikes: Headboard is shorter than it appeared on picture once we set up 12 mattress. We thought it would be higher.
We have only had bed for two weeks. It is sturdy and can hold quite some weight and movement. We will update again in couple months but for now we are happy with purchase.
I like the frame however the s keeps sliding off and they seem to be cut short, which in turn sinks the mattress and I find my self having to place them back in the frame again.
After shopping for a platform bed with underneath storage we decided on this one. We werent disappointed. It seems very strong, well designed and not at all cheap looking. The parts fit together well, but the instructions are not as clear as they could be. The drawings are excellent but its not always clear which end of the bed frame youre looking at, or whether it might be a bottom or top view. This caused us a few do/overs during the assembly process. We ended up putting most of the thing together loosely before tightening all the screws and bolts. The bed came with an Allen wrench to put it together. Youll need something more substantial or it will take you forever. Fortunately, the machine screws are not Phillips head screws but are Robertson screws or square drive or socket head screws. It would be hard, but maybe not impossible for one person to put the bed together. It comes in two boxes and once assembled the entire platform is pretty heavy and is not moveable as one piece. So assemble it where you intend it to reside. To move it in the future will require a substantial disassembly. There is more storage available underneath the raised mattress than we expected. Your underneath storage stuff does not just lay on your floor under the bed. The bed has its own internal flooring that keeps your stuff up off your bedroom floor. We put a 14 inch thick foam mattress on it and the top surface of the mattress is about 27 inches above the floor which should be fine for most people. However, if you require a higher bed surface, the directions say it cannot be placed on risers.
I love how sturdy this bedframe is! The elements are really pretty and seem like good quality. My only complaints would be that the arent on tracks so you have to shift them around to get them into the locked positions and they dont have handles so when you are opening and closing them you have to grab them from the bottom or sides
This bed frame was easy to put together and is sturdy enough for my heavy mattress. It is a little heavy to lift up but again I do have a heavy mattress. It has plenty of storage underneath, I use the storage for my blankets, sheets, seasonal clothing and shoes. I would not recommend putting very heavy items in the storage area because the bottom piece is a little flimsy but you could reinforce it with a thin piece of ply if you wanted to put heavy things under the bed.
I like the bed, its great for the price. But came with 3 holes in the headboard and one of the back legs that attach the head board to the frame is wrong. Now the seller refunded me 40 for the head board holes but wanted part and pics for the part that attaches the headboard. I already explained i dont have part nor can I move it alone. Like why would I want extra legs for this if it wasnt wrong. You make and or sell the bed shouldnt they know what im talking about?

It wasnt too hard to put together. It looks great. I love the four . So convenient for those spare sheets for all the beds.
