It does not fit a bunkie board or a full size American Mattress

This is a beautiful bed and well made. The problem is it was not made for a full innerspring American mattress. Both the bunkie board I bought and the mattress hang over the end. I suppose this bed was made for a cheap foam mattress. Too bad, because it is beautiful. Thus my sons bunkie board and mattress hang over the end. The price was excellent and my son doesnt really care that his mattress doesnt fit proberly. It is a shame that it was not made for a full mattress as it states. Not for the Charles P. Roger mattress he has.

So far I love the bed! The material is so sturdy and setting it up took no time at all. It was probably the easiest process my husband and I have done. Completely recommend it!

Some screw holes werent big enough so you have to drill them out yourself

This bed was super easy to assemble and the instructions were great. Were very pleased.

The bed looks darker than pictured but we really like it

Short backboard

The picture makes it look like there is a tall backboard, but with two pillows you can barely see the backboard. Maybe if you use a low profile mattress?
