assembly was straight forward. Everything lined up as it should . took about an hour. Pretty sturdy. Within 10 minutes of having it setup though my son was complaining the ladder rungs hurt his feet. I thought he was just being annoying until i tried to climb them. they are like 1/2 tube rungs so your wight is not spread out like a normal flat ladder rung. It really is quite painful to climb them. Simple solution was a tube of pipe insulation from the hardware store cut to length for each rung. Would have been nice if that had been provided though. Overall pretty happy.
I am a petite adult weighing at approximately 120lbs and the bed holds up pretty nicely. I just got the bed assembled 2 days ago and am still in the process of rearranging everything in my room so its a bit messy, but as you can see in the pictures I have so much more room and can put my shelves under the bed now. Hopefully I can come back and edit this review and upload a picture or two after I am done moving things around. Just waiting for a day off from work. Great purchase! Glad to have chosen this bed!
The good: package arrived on time, no pieces missing with few blemishes, all fasteners were in a single heat/sealed package, very verbose and well expressed assembly instructions.
The bad: no spare fasteners, if you loose just one screw, bolt or dowel, it is a scourge thru your garage or a trip to a hardware store.
The ugly: while the instruction were well documented and expressed, I disagree with the order of assembly presented, I swear whomever wrote these instructions did not put this together themselves to get a reality check on arrangement of the sub/assemblies. Furniture assembly instructions to do fall under OSAH nor US Customs jurisdiction so I doubt if there was any third party review.
Overall, a good product for the money. Would purchase again as needs fit.
Crate , it took my teenage son and I about three hours to put it together. We purchased it for my son who just got excepted to college. It only holds 165 pounds, but seems like a good value. We added a Phillips hue light strip underneath it so he could see at his .
I like the look of it and be its ability to give back floor space. Got it for my son who is in his first apartment with many roommates. Space is Paramount. Looks good, but just got it. True to other testimonies, the rings of the ladder are brutal. I used the pool noodles hack. That helps, but he will add padding.
My husband put it together by himself. He is EXTREMELY handy and can troubleshoot anything. It still took 4 hours to assemble.
The worst of it was the delivery. I purposely ordered on a specific day to have it delivered on the day my son would take possession of the apartment / in another city. was going to deliver a day early. I called and had it postponed to the pre/arranged day. Ultimately, after multiple phone calls, it finally arrived a full 19 hours late. Wouldnt be a problem except we needed to leave to return home. Luckily, we stayed just long enough to have the time to put it together and not miss our travel plans.
It worked out but I am shocked at s inability to mitigate the problem.
It took all four of us my husband my two children and I to work together but all in all it was super fun and took about three hours. Only because there are so many components. But its sturdy and my husband who weighs about 230 can get on it with no creaking or bending

Sturdy!
Great looking, highly functional, sturdy bed. Our son loves it.
So much more room now

Great value for your tween
This bed was easy to assemble and our 11 year old loves it. The holes were easy to line up, and the small parts came with extra. Great value.
Good product with some issues

Delivery was a nightmare and the best could do was say sorry.

Loftbed
Returned bed since the bars surrounding the bed did not have opening, requiring kid to climb over bars to enter
Trendy Loft gets an A
This loft bed is so cute! Its well made but I will say its a bit wobbly (when an adult is on it). My kid loves to use the lower area to hang out.
