    Great bunks Even better price!

I purchased this bed after searching around on multiple sites for what I thought was the best design, finish and perceived quality for my kids bedroom. I have to say, I am 99 impressed. The missing 1 is due to the fact that there were, unfortunately, some missing part labels/letters. That being said, even with some missing letters, I was able to put the entire bunk together in about 3 hours all by myself. It was also in a 10x10 room with the 2 twin mattresses still in the room (one laying flat, the other against a wall). Even in that compact space, I was able to get everything figured out and assembled in what I believe is a reasonable amount of time. Had I had more room to work with and all parts labeled, I probably couldve shaved another 30m off. Anyway, the build quality is very good. We previously had a 1000 bunk in the room, but it was too tall (yes, inexperience allowed me to purchase without measuring for height). That piece was extremely well made and this one is fairly similar in what Id consider build quality. No, not the same, but reasonably similar. There is a/some negative reviews about slats not measuring out right, but the main negative review I read was 2 years old (2013 vs. 2015). Im guessing that the manufacturer either corrected any error there was at that time in the manufacturing of the parts (probable) or the reviewer was not able to build the bunks as they were meant to be (hopefully, not the case because I hate it when ignorant people blast something thats actually their own fault). I say this because my experience was mostly positive and the final product is excellent as far as Im concerned. Ill say that Im no contractor or engineer, but I have basic common sense and believe that anyone with a bit of logic can build this bunk even if it is missing some labelling. Just be smart, lay everything out ahead of time to get a good idea of where everything goes and you should be fine. I was So, for the price, I have to say that Id highly recommend this bunk bed to anyone and everyone. Its a steal as far as Im concerned.

    beautiful bed but low clearance

Very nice quality and attractive. Kids are very happy with it. Four stars instead of five because low clearance between lower and upper bunk. I had to build extensions for it to raise it an additional 14. This was somewhat complicated to do in a safe yet seem less appearing way but is possible with some creativity and considerable tooling.

ATTENTION: NOT solid wood as it appears, but pressed wood with a decorative laminate surface to look like wood!

This bed looks great and is very functional and wasnt that hard to put together, although I am pretty good at assembling things like this. You will need to go back and tighten all the bolts after the first few weeks of use (maybe as needed after that). We have had our now for a couple of months and my 2 and 4 year old boys love it. My major complaint, we noticed a few weeks ago that some of the side/rail finish on the corners was starting to come apart. Upon further inspection I could see that the dark stain wood look was nothing but a pressed wood with a laminated wood look on the outside. I have included a picture of one of the damaged areas. This will not be as long lasting as a solid wood bed frame. The price is still cheap, but now I know (after the fact) that this bed frame is not going to last as long as I hoped. The listing says nothing about the actual material used, so I am disappointed they are not up front about this so customers can compare apples to apples when shopping for an item like this. Would I buy this again Probably not. We had also found a solid wood bunk bed that would need to be stained for not much more, but would have been a much better deal in the long run.

    Bunk it.

These bunk beds were fairly straight forward and simple to put together (better if there are two adults, for sure). My only complaint woul dbe that the bottom bunk is REALLY close to the top bunk in my opinion. It doesnt seem to bother my four year old but I could see someone in the 8/10 year old range having struggles (my 4 yr old is about the size of a 6 yr old). Price and the fact that shipping was free was the big selling points. We needed bunk beds to free up some space in their tiny bedroom.

    Good bed, pretty sturdy

Good bed, pretty sturdy. Directions are a little confusing. Go over everything twice when building the top bunk or it will end up backwards and you will have to take it a part and rebuild that one like we had to. Otherwise Im very pleased with this bed and the kids love it. One other thing, invest in some 3/4 inch plywood cut to fit. The slats that come with it are too flimsy.

    The bed is sturdy otherwise.

I dont know if Ill kids are as rough as mine but they ripped the screws out of the latter within a week. The bed is sturdy otherwise.

This bed is great. It takes 2 people to put together easily

This bed is great. It takes 2 people to put together easily, but the instructions are reasonably clear and we received all pieces in great condition. Well worth the price, and our 5 and 8 year old boys love it. It is very sturdy.
