These bunk beds have worked out great for our newly 3 5yo girls! They werent too bad to put together (when you read the instructions especially One board was cracked but my husband was able to secure it with a couple more screws.
Like others mentioned, it is more of a cream/ivory than a true white but it looks great in the room.
The screws that hold the upper rail together came loose so my husband secured them with better bolts (see bronze colored bolts vs silver).
My girls are climbers and have been climbing the ladder, the ends of the bed and the sides without any issue so we are thrilled.
Cant beat the price too so highly recommend!
A lot of reviews about slat quality and not enough of them. I totally agree, which is why I took one of the slats to my local hardware store and had them cut me 14 more, cost me 20. But now each mattress is supported by 14 slats and is far more sturdy. I hopped my fat self on there (230lbs) and bounced a little, no issues whatsoever. If it can hold me it can hold my kids for sure. I also have a 11in thick Avocado mattress that weighs 76lbs. This does cause issues with the guard rail, so what do I do? Buy a extra guard rail board and attach that to the existing guard rails for a nice sturdy safe bed.
The one thing I am a bit worried about is that the beds are only attached to each other with a flimsy wood peg that goes from the top of the bottom bed posts about 3in into the bottom of the top bed posts. I have a few ideas on how to secure that a bit better but havent done that yet.
Overall not bad, just needs a little modification for support and high mattress.
Its perfect product. I would say try it. Just one advise to the manufacturer please add some wood slabs the one you put under the mattress. After installation i went to Home Depot n got more slabs so it can hold the mattress properly
One of the top bunk safety rails (13) was broke and unusable when I opened the box. There were a few other dings and scratches leading me to believe that better packaging would have prevented the damage. Otherwise, it is an attractive, sturdy bed. The grey color is exactly what I wanted.
Arrived in 3 days and when the delivery truck pulled up I opened my garage and the two delivery men brought it right inside. The box was in perfect condition and everything was well packed.
The pieces have a nice smooth finish and I like that its real wood. Of course its not hardwood from an old/growth forest and Im happy with that. There are a few blemishes but nothing you could see from more than 3 foot away, and no splinters or real defects. Before it arrived I saw some commentary on the bed slats and had a few 1x4s ready to augment the ones that came with the bed. It came with 14 slats for the two beds, and I cut four additional ones and now it looks like Ill be fine without bunky boards. It took about 2 hours to assemble with a couple of obligatory re/dos of some boards (pay attention to where the holes for attaching the ladder are!) The design seems sturdy in all of the right places and the bolts and fittings give reassurance it will hold up.
Love the look, that it doesnt take up much space, and that my daughters are happy.
Awesome purchase for the price! Sturdy and very easy to put together. It was my husband and I but if you only has one person it would be doable, it would just take longer.

Great deal!
I bought this set for my grandsons to visit, stay all night, and have their own space. The beds are very sturdy, and they love them!
A little modification goes a long way.

A nice bed but packaged poorly
