My daughter (11 years) wanted this bed with a pop up trundle for our new house. It was easy to put together and very sturdy. Looks great. Wish that it came with a few extra of the plastic parts, we broke one clip bc we inserted upside down and broke when pulling it out (not an absolute essential piece) but it still stayed in place.
Almost bought same frame on wayfair.com but then found on cheaper. SO happy!
Ive recently found myself in a new apartment that is somehow much smaller than the seemingly tiny house Id been in before. Its actually been a neat experience though, to think about and account for the more limited living space, and how to best utilize vertical and horizontal areas in ways that I completely would have ignored before. One of the reasons Ive enjoyed this challenge, though, is specifically because of products such as this daybed; where one furnishing or appliance can ultimately fulfill the intended use or roles of two or more items commonly found in more traditional settings.
So, as of right now, this daybed functions as both general seating in my living room, as well as a bed for one of my two boys. It has so far stood up to he and his brothers seemingly perpetual state of motion and mutual physical aggravations, but what Ive appreciated most as its proven to not be a concern is the fact that theres no /on/ squeaking or squealing like Id feared there might be for a product at this price.
In terms of comfort, obviously the level of satisfaction related to sitting/sleeping on the daybed has more to do with the mattress used than it does the frame. But, I will say this: Ive seen plenty of bed frames, futons, cribs, co/sleepers, and so/on in my time, and its rare to find a product at a price like this that employs the use of design and materials in such a way that it provides a higher standard for use and functionality than many of its more expensive counterparts. Specifically, Im talking about the slats that support the mattress. This frame utilizes bars that lock into place, where not only do they provide the bed with a more substantial weight and feel, but its worth it to note how this daybed offers a 400 lb weight limit rating. Ive seen others here on at twice the cost rated for only 200 lbs or so.
Well have to wait and see how it stands up to use over time, but as of now Im so very happy with this bed, and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a bed, something to sit/lounge on, or both. Definitely looks nice.
Very well made daybed that exceeded my expectations. It wasnt the fastest assembly job, but it was well thought out. All of the pieces fit together perfectly, which is rare for such an affordable piece. Even better there is a well designed support system for under the mattress that Im very certain will outlast most of the other beds in my house. Most importantly, my daughter loves it. And she loves that our pop out trundle fits with plenty of room underneath for her sleepovers. Its pretty though!
This bed was so easy to assemble! My 16 year old daughter had it assembled in 90 minutes. It is comfortable and it looks fabulous in my home office. It squeaks just a bit when you move around on it but I suspect that once we use it for a bit that will subside. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a practical and a stylish solution for sleeping arrangements. If I had room in my office I would add the trundle. Much better than expected
I have purchased 3 of these beds. What does that say? My grand kids and their parents love them, they are inexpensive; fit perfectly in any size room. Huge amount of storage under bed (14 space from floor upward). I definitely prefer over wood beds. Very attractive piece of furniture, easy assembly, packaged well. Just placed the twin mattress on top, sheets same as always; got rid of box springs, which I was glad to be done with.
Happy, happy, happy. 1 grandson says his squeaks a bit, but I tell him to stop bouncing on it. What a great buy!
