The bed is pretty durable and my daughter loves it.
The reason I had to knock off 1 star was that putting it together was much tougher than expected. I really had to force some of the parts to line up correctly to get the screws in. I almost left a few screws out because they didnt seem necessary or were up against a wall corner anyway. Took a good couple hours to get it up. The bottom step drawer will be a bit tough pulling in and out using if you have thicker carpet as well, but weve mostly used it for storing things that arent used as much. We put shelving underneath the bunk for toys and other items used more frequently. very reasonably priced as well.
A serious pain in the neck to assemble, but very handy and sturdy once constructed! Bring a ratcheting/automatic screwdriver or youll end up wanting to commit things that end in /cide. Also, expect to dedicate a few hours to assembling this bed, even with a ratcheting screwdriver! Cute and comfortable

Great price.wonderful for storage.we bought this for my 2 year old because her room is super small and there was nowhere in her room (or the house) to play. So I saw this bed and it replaced her crib. I was a bit hesitant at first because of the height from the ground, but we put pillows around the sides and shes never had an accident. She loves her bed. Shes almost 3 now and its just perfect for her. We cant wait until she has a sleepover and her cousins can enjoy it too! I would definitely purchase again! Love, love, love it!
I ordered this bed on February 2nd and received it on February 5th. Super fast shipping. Took over 3 hours to put together, but it looks aming! My kids love it! Turned it into a bunk bed and placed another twin mattress underneath. Still waiting for our mattress foundation to be shipped. Will use the foundation for the bottom mattress. It works perfect as a bunk bed for toddlers 3+. May be a little cramped as a bunk bed for older children. it is very pretty.
I just purchased this bed for my 5yo daughter and we were all very excited for it to come. It arrived on Wednesday and we put it together Thursday night/ it took about 3 hours to put together. For the most part, I am happy with this bed. But there were a few flaws that I am not happy with. The steps are press wood covered in a pink material. There is a small chunk of the pink missing from the front of the bottom drawer. Also, there was a piece of the white paint scratched off near the back corner where the steps are, and a good size dent with surrounding damage to the top of a side rail opposite the stairs. Kids are happy, but this perfectionist Mommy is a little perturbed with these flaws after meticulously piecing the many pieces together! not happy at all
Its very cute but a HUGE pain to put together, plan for 2/3 hours. There was one part that didnt fit properly together and I needed the strength of my husband to force it. They could have easily shipped some parts assembled but literally every single piece comes disassembled.
Steps are sturdy and well made which was a nice surprise. Directions are very clear too. The bed did start squeaking after a few months, but a quick re/tightening of bolts fixed that.
The bed itself is adorable and serves its purpose well. It is huge though, so make sure you measure. We ended up just disassembling it yesterday to sell because its just too big (another 2/3 hours to disassemble).
Bottom line is you do get what you pay for. may be returning
Got this for my 3 year old. She adores it. While it is a pain to put together (There was a lot of cussing from my husband, lol) it is very sturdy. Im able to climb up and lay beside her if I want. My only complaint is I wish the guard rails were higher. Its not easy finding a mattress with a thin profile for this bed. At least not a good one. Her mattress comes maybe an inch from top of rails. I put a roll bar in that extends two thirds of the open side. The mattress and rail wedge it in really good (It also has bars extending beneath mattress), the roll bar isnt going anywhere. So if you were wondering you can certainly rig a roll bar up there.
Very happy with this, If the rails were taller itd get five stars! I was very excited to receive!
I ordered three of these and was not sure what was in store for me. It took me approximately 3 hours to complete each bed. The measurements were off. If you are trying to measure these for a small space add an additional 2/3 inches to the measurments. It was for sure longer than what the measurements represented.
Never buying this brand again. It had rust damage, 4 bolts werent long enough/ or maybe the holes too wide. Instructions were over complicated. Some of the hardware was cheap and didnt secure well.
Id chalk it up to you get what you pay for only I can get higher quality at Ikea for around the same price.
If it wasnt such a huge hulking item, Id return it. As it is, I made it work. Ive got a couple more beds to buy, Im going with Ikea. not satisfied with product
