This is a beautiful, and very comfortable chair. While the photo makes the chair look sage/ish green, it is actually a grey/green. Most small chairs like this do not offer comfort or support. But with this chair you will receive both. Its very comfy!! The back of the chair looks low, but for a 6 foot man it is quite comfy. Not a long/term comfort, but for a few hours, or in a waiting room it is quite nice.
I love the size and the price of this chair. It is a nice size for a small room and the price is great. Seat height is 19 inch, seat depth is 21 inch, and the height of the backrest is 14.5 inch. It arrived in a big box, and all you have to do is open the zippered pouch on the bottom of the chair and remove the legs and attach them to the chair. At first it was a bit confusing how the legs go on, but after looking at the photo you will figure it out. I was very excited to receive!
I needed to replace my over size to soft lounge chairI have arthritis and needed something more to fit my needs. This wonderful chair does just that.Firm and easy to get in and out of.wonderful texture to the chair.just looks great in my living room.btw.took a few minutes to tighten legs.no problem at all !! Very stylish and great quality!
Nice quality, elegant and just a great looking chair. Very comfortable to sit in and matches well with my rooms decor. The only issue I had was one of the legs fourth screw could not be put in place because the hole it was supposed to go in was misaligned. However, all the remaining screws held the leg tight enough that this flaw isnt noticeable at all. The chair is still sturdy and durable. SO happy!
This chair is so comfortable and simply stylish! I love the ease of putting it together (just add the legs). Perfect fit for my living space. Definitely looks nice.
This handsome chair has clean lines and is stylish and comfortable. The fabric is toothy and substantial, with a linen/like feel and weave. Sadly, the fabric seems to be particularly appealing to my two cats, so Ill have to figure out how to ensure this lovely chair doesnt become a de factor scratching post. The chair arrives with the four legs and hardware tucked inside a little bag that is enclosed in a zippered compartment in the bottom of the chair / making that package the chair ships in seem smaller than one would expect. The chair isnt particularly heavy, and can easily be moved around by one person. Assembly requires screwing the four legs into the base of the chair / pretty simple. I love the versatile, deep charcoal color and simple lines / no complaints about this lovely chair.
Update: Ive had this chair less than three months and one of the seams is completely torn. I blame my cat, but still. This is an attractive chair, but I dont think it is designed for heavy duty use. Its pretty though!
A sturdy, retro/styled, low/back armchair. Its surprisingly comfortable, easy to assemble, and well/sized for an adult.
The chair arrives very well packaged/ wrapped in plastic and bubble wrap, inside a rather large box with reinforced edges / corners to prevent damage. Thats a big box/ the main part of the chair is all one piece, with the small parts secreted in a small bag inside a zippered compartment on the bottom of the chair.
Assembly is straight/forward, and the screws can largely be tightened by hand, forgoing the usual struggle doing half/turns with an undersized hex wrench (included). On mine, the holes for one leg were a little off and took some effort to tighten (the rest were easy). It helps to be able to sit on the floor and turn the chair so the legs being attached are up.
The assembled chair is very comfortable to sit in. Unlike many small chairs, I fit comfortably whether slouched forward or scootched against the back (Im 510 average male build). The bottom cushion velcros into place, so it doesnt slide out under normal use. The chair sides are wide enough (and low enough) to put your arms over them.
Two quibbles: 1) the manufacturer doesnt indicate which way the legs are supposed to go (they fit facing in any direction), and it takes a few moments to figure out the correct orientation (for those of us who hate disassembling mistakes). The legs should face with the slanted part (that touches the floor) sloping towards the center of the chair. 2) Theres no/scratch felt pads included, but they had fallen off 3 of 4 feet and needed to be re/stuck. Probably better if these were left on a backing for the buyer to attach.
Also note the body of the chair is large enough that its a little bit of a struggle to get it through an interior doorway with legs attached/easier to assemble it in the room where its intended to live. One last quibble; at least one of my cats really loves the texture of the woven surface, and is doing her best to scratch it ragged. Plan accordingly if felines share your household. A comfortable chair, in a fashionably muted color (mine is gray), delivered to your door, with only a few minutes of assembly needed. Recommended. Much better than expected
This chair is utter perfection.
It is extremely versatile. It would be perfect in most homes, apartments or dorm/rooms. Not to mention bedroom, library/study or anywhere that you want to relax and read.
The textured fabric appears to be durable and a lovely shade of grey, that you can match with a variety of throw pillows: red, navy, green, mustard, mandarin / basically tons of colors.
It can be masculine or feminine/in other words it is pretty neutral.
I found it to be comfortable and havent had any complaints.
It is super easy to assemble (20 to 30 mins) you only have to attach the legs with the screws and allen wrench that are enclosed.
In conclusion, for the price (under 150), this is a definite must have. It will match most of decors and looks great in any setting. Very pretty.
Im not normally a fan of the mid century look, but this isnt an extreme version of the look. We are in the midst of a whole house renovation and remodel. The master suite has an architectural curved wall and barrel curved doors which means our furniture needs to reflect the overall design.
We have a low profile platform bed in this same grey tweedy fabric on the headboard and footboard. This chair looks great in the bedroom / the fabric is a perfect match and the curves accent the wall and doors nicely. As to comfortI think its way too hard, something my Grandmother would have called a Parsons seat. Comfortable for ten minutes or less, encouraging a guest to leave sooner. However, the dogs like it and the low curved back gives them plenty of support. Be aware that the legs require four hex key screws to put on. Its tedious and one of my screws was a hair too big for the hole, so I had to improvise with a screw from our home repair kit. Perfect in every way.
