Eh okay, she lets me on her

Had it for a few months now. Im not really impressed. Ws had to buy a memory foam topper because just the mattress wasnt cutting it.

    A Perfect Compromise

Out of the gate, let me say the 12 hybrid memory foam mattress is extremely comfortable. I bought mine along with its companion adjustable base. For the last decade or so, Ive been sleeping in my recliner which a lot of seniors do. Im now 70. No bed is going to cure you of the aches and pains that come with aging but we all have to make decisions based upon what works for us. Id been shopping for an adjustable base/mattress combo for a while realizing I could better replicate the back support in my bedroom than a recliner in my living room. But there was such a wide range from 7,000 hospital beds to bargain basement get/what/you/pay/for junk. This is a perfect compromise. The base is sturdy, attractive, can be attached to a headboard of choice and easily supports my 300 lbs. The motors are quiet and provide a wide range of positions. The memory foam actually lets me sleep on my side which Ive not done in years. When I am sleeping on my back the foam forms around me to support my contours. I also have lymphedema and have noticed a significant reduction in swelling as I am able to effectively elevate my legs. That being said, I have this one criticism. I knew the bed would be high with a 12 mattress and 12 legs. The disadvantage of buying a bed on/line is that you dont even get get a chance to sit on it. I know, with , you can always return it but with beds its a major hassle. Im 58 and had to buy a 9 step stool to (for me) help get onto to my twinxl . Some people like the height as it is easier when you want get off. Others also like the storage it affords underneath. Neither is important to me. I see that does offer shorter legs on their web/site but at additional cost. It would have been nice to have been offered this option at the time of purchase. Beds are important as we spend a lot of time there. In this imperfect world I ultimately found this purchase perfect to fit my needs.

    A love/kinda hate relationship.

Im happy with the mattress but I do have a few complaints. I waited many months before writing this so I would know for sure what I thought about the mattress. Its very comfortable and fantastic for sleeping on. However, it has developed an obvious indentation where I lie on it most often when reading. Ive only had it a few months so this seems ridiculous. Im going to turn the mattress around so that the indented area is at the end of the bed near my feet and try not to lie on one spot so much. It doesnt affect the comfort of the mattress right now but Im concerned it will be a problem later. I feel this should not have happened so quickly and probably does not happen on a more expensive version of this type of mattress. The springs vibrate. Ive lost track of how many times I have felt the bed vibrating. It feels like a small earthquake. Its clearly coming from the movement on the mattress inner coil springs. Not the worst problem but something to be aware of. Also, its not the best bed for some types of adult activity. If youre not particularly athletic on it thats fine but if youre looking for some adventure Id suggest moving it to the floor. Its a wee bit too squishy for moving around on. You cant easily stand, kneel or squat on it. Just sayin It is rather hard to get out of too. You have to kind of throw yourself off of it. I have a feeling thats normal for these types of mattresses. For the price I am happy with it. Sleeping on it it is heavenly. Seriously, it feels like a cloud. Best sleep ever. Im just not sure it will survive more than around 4 or 5 years under normal, healthy use. It was very easy to unwrap and it was at full height within less than a half hour. It is VERY heavy though. I dragged it in the house by myself and I recommend having someone help you because F that. I am confident I could move a dead body after hucking this thing into the house and on to my bed frame. Actually, a dead body might be easier. I am not kidding. Ive lifted weights most of my adult life so Im not a weakling. Its just unwieldy. I didnt notice any odors and I am VERY picky about that kind if stuff. I am definitely a fan of the hybrid mattress and would buy another one. Maybe even another if they could improve some of the issues it has. Overall, Im happy with it and am willing to deal with the problems.

Comfortable and cool, but not the most/upportive

I rated this pretty high, and it is a decent quality bed. I just didnt realize itd be so soft and kind of unsupportive, especially since Im a small person. Im a side/back sleeper, and on the side it works, but on the back I just sink in and I end up with my shoulders a bit hunched forward weirdly enough. It could be my pillow, but Im not sure. Its still a comfortable bed, and Im sure its great for a lot of people, but I need a much more/supportive bed I guess.

Incredible value / perfect balance of comfort and support

I never write reviews but I wanted to share how great this latex mattress is. I researched for hours and decided this was the one for the wife and myself.it has been 6 months of aming sleep. My wife is 120 lbs and Im 240 and we both love the comfort and support the mattress provides. If you prefer a slight firmness to your mattress this one is a perfect balance of firmness for side/back sleepers with aming comfort. Mattress expanded to the full 12 in a matter of 30 minutes and still looks brand new Outer box of mattress was beaten up pretty bad from the delivery but the mattress was perfect due to the very thick plastic wrap on the mattress.

Worth it to wait 72 hours

Worth it to wait 72 hours. When you first remove it from the plastic, it looks ready to be used. But I recommend waiting 72 hours like they suggest. There was a noticeable difference between Day 1 and Day 3 on how fluffed up the mattress was. I slept on the floor in the meantime, and I think it was worth it. The mattress is very comfortable

    Wonderful new mattress and bed

I bought this with the Twin adjustable bed frame and love both of them. Once the frame was assembled, it works great and is extremely comfortable. Reasonably firm, just the way I like it. Strongly recommended if youre in the market for an adjustable bed.

    Worth the money

Purchased for my back pain. Kinda difficult to get out of the box but, let it inflate, dont have to wait 72 hours like it says. Waited about 24 hours. Not super heavy. Very comfortable and fell asleep fast. Woke up not wanting to leave my bed! Worth the money to take the plunge and trying my first mattress in a box. Very pleased!
