For the money, this bed is great. My boys are both six feet tall and they sleep fine on this bed. My husband braved the bed to the wall to make it more sturdy. Without the braces, a person could get sea sick from the rocking on the top bunk. The braces also helped with the squeaking noises. The only bad thing is the ladder. It is so tiny and it really hurts your feet. My son just wears his slides when going up and down and he is fine. Over all we are very happy with the bed. Quality products.
Now, I gotta say to everyone who purchase this bunk bed, to lower your expectations. Just look at the price, and do not expect anything high end. Does it do the job? Yes. The truth is, when someone is on the top bed, it wabbles a lot. I weight 276 pounds and I got myself up there and it wabbled a lot! Maybe for someone who weights less could do a lot better with the wabbling, but at least you know it supports that much weight. The bottom bed its perfectly fine, no issues at all. The stairs to climb up are very uncomfortable and they will hurt your feet for sure.
I have a suggestion for the builders of this bed. If you bring down the top base lower at least 3 inches, it would be able to be more supportive and less Wabbly. Also, the main 4 bars they could use a bit more thickness Just for more support.
Overall I give it 4 stars because it is an OK price and it does the job. Really Worth it..
Bought this bed 18 months ago and have been sleeping on the lower bunk every night since. Im 64 and 350. Hauled the box upstairs and assembled bed, alone, in a short afternoon. Braced the bed lengthwise against a wall stud with a sturdy expandable shower rod (with spacers on opposite end of bed to be even with floor molding) to prevent wobbling and squeaking. 18 months later, no wobbles, no squeaks, no problems, no complaints! Space saving and no frills design were EXACTLY what I wanted. I use the upper bunk for storage in my tiny apartment. Am about to buy the twin version of this great bed for spare room. Not so bad.
After hundred of pieces put together to ensemble this bunk bed, it is so annoying how much noise it makes. My kids love the fact that is wider but cant sleep with the noise it makes every time they move. I have tided and loosed the nuts but only stop the noise for a little . Exactly as it looks, but not great quality.
The bed is sturdier than I thought it would be , Follow instructions and match it to pictures. Instructions should include reminders which way each piece should face. Be sure not to put it together alone. My son loves it!!

Not bad
Not a bad product for the money Still is rickety Nice product.
Bars where Mattress goes on top of.
Its really nice but the metal bars are a bit thin. (Bars where the mattress goes on top of). Pretty sturdy. Good size.
