This frame was so easy to put together, and love the metal. Metal prevents bugs!!! Ok it’s so sturdy the one complaint is the leg at the mid point from the head to foot of the bed on either side of the bar will kill you toes if you bump into them! Super painful when I make my kids bed.
This bed is not solid wood. Its finger jointed little pieces of what appear to be some sort of veneer. Two of the holes were misdrilled presenting an assembly challenge. I was disappointed.
Frame went together quick and easy. Frame is very sturdy and looks great. One really weird thing is the headboard itself has a really strange smell when the weather is humid, if we turn the AC on, it takes the humidity out of the air and the smell disappears????
The bed has a beautiful color and finish. It was easy to assemble once all the parts were out of the box. It is a heavy box, and you should have two people to help you move it if possible.

This bed is made with strong materials so you wont have to worry about putting too much weight on it or anything becoming loose and squeaky. It looks modern, with clean lines and fits my purple mattress perfectly. Better than I had expected.
This bed is really nice and solidly built. Easy to assemble. If you have a California king it will not fit. It will be too wide and too short. It smells really weird. I can tell that the smell is feeding after a couple of days but it smells like fish. It also needs a pretty low profile mattress.

Heavy but worth it
Definitely a lot of work carrying it to the third floor. And took two people to assemble. But I love how it looks and I’m super happy with it.
