This is a very well made filing cabinet. It compares to commercial units we have at my office. For home use, this is a very good deal. The only thing you need to remember is that the files go vertically in the cabinet. If you are using standard US office sized files, you wont be able to just pull out the cabinet and see the files. You will have a space and then you can look at the files from the side. It takes a bit of getting used to and it does leave wasted space. The company was very good about replacing the first one they sent, which did not close fully. This cabinet also has a nice exterior design.
The file cabinet came pretty quickly in the mail, and was extremely easy to assemble. No cracks or damage was done during shipping, but it gave us a little bit of an issue at first because the lock wasnt working, but we realized that it was the plastic from the tag that was attached that got stuck wrapped around the lock. Other than that, it serves its purpose quite well. The little keys are super adorable too.
