My 8 year old loves it. Pretty sturdy. The ladder is uncomfortable to climb but my son does not seem to care. I wish there was an opening in the top guard rail by the ladder to make it easier to get on/off the ladder to the bed instead of climbing over the guard rail. It was a good value overall though.
Came without instructions. I love puzzles but the stakes are too high here. There are roughly 589 pieces in this box not counting the nuts bolts if I put it together wrong, it could kill a kidor at least seriously maim one. Ironically, the hardware is all meticulously labeledso if you have an engineering degree, should be no sweat. For the rest of us, I get to go break my kids heart and tell him he gets to sleep on a mattress on the floor until some company sends us directions.
This was a great purchase for my 6 year old daugther. She loves being up high and the added space to her room as the underneath area can obviously be used, so big pluses there! My husband and I put it together. It overall was a fairly easy build with 2 people and took us about an hour and a half to put it together. Very sturdy and quality pieces. I also like that it gives the appearance that it is wood, although it is metal.
This was an excellent purchase. My husband told me that it was much easier to put together than he expected and in its final state, it is sturdy and firm and has done wonders for my daughters room. Definitely a wonderful purchase!
This is a poorly designed bunk bed. There are many cross bars that the mattresses rest on. These bars must each be installed, and each require 2 plastic pieces (one on each end) that are difficult to place and difficult to remove. The plastic pieces also break during installation. Placing each plastic piece is difficult and timeconsuming. As a result the bunk takes hours to setup. There are too many pieces. I would prefer it if the part of the bunk that supports the mattress is only one piece, instead of many. This requires a larger box but is completely worth it. I have another bunk which is designed with one piece supporting the mattress and is much easier to disassemble, move, and reassemble.
The bunk doesnt keep its shape really well on the diagonal. What I mean by this is you can grab one end of the bunk and move it sideways. What you would expect is the entire bunk to move, but what actually happens is the other end stays in place and the entire frame just turns into a parallelogram (when viewed from the top). Its not exceptionally bad but it is there. This really is the worst bunk bed design I have ever seen, Im not just exaggerating.
I gave two stars instead of one because aside from the parallelogram effect described above, it is quite strong for how small the bars are. And light. Its ok.
The bed arrived in a box that had clearly been opened and patched back together. Only half of the hardware was included and there were no assembly instructions. We found the assembly instructions online, but do not have the hardware needed to assemble the bed.

Great value. Some small improvements in design would make it a 5 star

Visually linear and great for small space
As expected. Visually linear and great for small space. Not built for adults definitely a young teen or youngers bed.

The bunk bed went together easily and is sturdy
The bunk bed went together easily and is sturdy. A wonderful addition to our guest room for our grandsons. Very pleased.
Terrible! Wrong item sent!
Wrong item sent! Very heavy and frustrating to get a bunk bed instead of loft bed! Terrible!
Key Part Missing
Bed came with incorrectly marked corner post. I received 3 A posts. One was marked D. A wasted weekend.
Too many pieces! Laborious assembly.

Hardeware and instructions missing from box
