After reading all the negative reviews, I said what the heck. Two bar stools for 85. I went for them. And glad I did. Even without an expert assembly person around and weak instructions, it only took 15 minutes to complete the task. Thats from opening the box to throwing out the trash. Back to the instructions, its easier to insert the gas lift mechanism into the base first then bolt the seat plate to the seat then slide the seat onto the gas lift mechanism. Both stools had zero flaws and are very comfortable. Both stools operated perfectly. So, only time will tell how they stand up to wear and tear. As far as pictures goes, mine look just like the file photos. Works great.
I thought they might be too big from the pictures, but they are of perfect size. They are super easy to put together and they look great and are very sturdy. loves it!
Inexpensive, functional, attractive enough, sturdy enough, Well worth the price. BTW: There is a plastic disk in the base so these stools are not ruining my new linoleum floor. They helped make a low cost remodel of my kitchen possible. Good,
These barstools arrived as expected. They were very easy to assemble. For all intents and purposes, they appear to be of good value and utility. Ive only had them a day but they appear sound and functional so no complaints. Very durable.
This is second purchase of these pairs of chairs . They look quite nice and can be assembled in 10 min. I weigh 275 and they work well for me. They are not for EVERYDAY use in a bar or office though or the will fail. We use them at church for the teachers and the safety and soundbooth operators so they are used 2=3 hours a week and we love them. They are nicely padded fo a couple hours sitting and when we need more these will be our choice!! 4 stars because not for everyday use! Fair for the price.
