This desk is very useful and well thought out. I would say, for the most part, assembly is mostly easy but can be a little tricky. The pull out tray is definitely the hardest part to assemble but is the most useful. It can easily fit monitors, a computer and monitor, gizmos and gadgets aplenty.
For gear heads that have a lot of racks, it will also accommodate those. Theres also a rack in the back if you need to put power strips there. I would definitely say its very sturdy but there is a slight give (probably only because its on wheels).
I got this desk when the price was a lot lower and it was a STEAL!
The wheels made playing the synthesizer too high for ergonomic comfort. I removed them and then found the computer tray too low to fit my lap under. I removed that too and will purchase an after market keyboard tray, another $50-$100. 2 person job to assemble for sure. took about 1 hour. Cup holder unneccesary.
After reading mixed reviews I was hesitant to order this desk but it turned out to be a great purchase. The desk is pretty big but its exactly as described and its sturdy. Shipping was fast as well.
Theres a lot to like about this desk - for the price, the materials are of an acceptable quality, the rack and supplied screws worked just fine for me, and the form factor packs a lot of real estate into a relatively narrow width, which was important to me. However, given that this is more or less intended for musicians, playing keyboards/synths... the WOBBLE is a deal-breaker. The left to right wobble is VERY bad; granted, you wont likely be exerting pressure in that direction, but even a slight nudge will trigger a wobble that persists for several seconds. Playing anything other than a pianissimo ambient pad or something will trigger the WOBBLE, which is extremely distracting. As an additional minor note, the bottom rack is actually VERY close to being blocked by the main desk surface, such that any type of drawer/shelf will hit it, just FYI. Should you buy it? If it checks all the boxes for you AND you think you can stabilize it somehow, or that the WOBBLE wont bother you, yes, its not a terrible piece of furniture and the price is reasonable. If youre like me, and sensitive to wobble, and wanting to play keyboard/piano parts that have any degree of motion/action, then I would pass...

Beware the WOBBLE

Great purchase. Great quality. Great price.
Great purchase. Great quality. Great price.
Be sure your keyboard fits.
I have a small 49 key midi controller. If you have something much bigger, the keyboard shelf isnt going to fit.
Great desk for a DJ
This table suits all my needs as a home DJ setup. Love the rack that is built in. Just now bought a Furman power conditioner to put in it.
Great Buy!!!
