Easy build. The non scratch surface is so practical and the design accomodations are as well. I am running prologic with my mac mini and other recording DAW on a Windows platform. The desk surface offers plenty of room for cpu keyboards, a mouse, and audio interface,a small mixer for just playing and practice with friends. My software has plenty of power and plugins so I dont use external gear for recording. I use the 8 unit gear rack for live sound gear to jam with friends, playing along with recordings, when I am learning new material. I have a stereo compressor, a crown amp, a rack mounted Korg X3R synth and power strip all within arms reach. The icing on the cake is the slide out controller keyboard drawer. This is a well thought out design that doesnt clutter the work area with excessive rack spaces that take up usable space. Take your time routing audio and power cables and it will pay you back in productivity. The price is worth it.
Just what I needed. Holds gear, works great, easy to assemble. Gets compliments. I didn’t need to impress anyone but it does for what it is. Simple practical and movable.
Feels sturdy, easy to assemble, honestly shocked at how good it is when everything else is easily over 300 bucks. If you want a studio desk for under 250 you CANNOT hope to come even close to beating this desk. Highly recommended.
I love the size- the free space underneath. I love that it is on wheels. It allows me to have 2 monitors and a lap top on the top shelf.
I have a Piano Keyboard a computer keyboard and 2 mice on the lower shelf and the main desk is a wonderful large size.
It is really sturdy and very attractive.
I didnt assemble it - My daughter and her friend did and he said he really liked the quality of the desk.
This desk was easy to put together, and is very sturdy! The fact that it’s on wheels also helps if you need to move your desk around. It looks great, and has plenty of space for all my music gear.
Assembly was very easy. Quality is what you would expect for the price. Plan to have 12 inch drawer slides of your own handy. The slides that come with the desk will fly apart the first time you use them and drop little ball bearings all over the place.
This desk is inexpensive, well designed, and sturdy. I had it fully assembled in about 1/2 hour. At first I thought the wheels (front wheels have locks) may make it to wobbly, but they’re such a great feature as they make it easy to swing the desk one way or another when making patch adjustments. Once everything was fully assembled and set up, it’s very sturdy. The keyboard drawer is 40” wide and actually fits my M-Audio Keystation 61 MIDI controller. The built-in rack is 4U per side and super sturdy while the monitor shelf is the perfect height and width for my 32” monitor and M-Audio AV40 monitors. The metal piece on the back has a kind of conduit shelf built-in that helps with cable management and hold a power strip (audio gear is on the power conditioner, the rest is on a power strip). The black on black striped finish is unique and adds a nice carbon-fiber-ish dimension. The cup holder and headphone holder are just icing on the cake.
My only real complaint is that I wish the keyboard drawer locked in place both in and out, but it’s far from being a dealbreaker.
I primarily use this desk for studio recording and mixing, but this area also serves as a third workspace in our house where both my wife and I work from home. Even with the keyboard drawer, this is a comfortable desk to work from. Highly recommended, as there’s nothing in this price class - especially with rack spaces - that even comes close.
Really easy to slap together! Sturdy as an ox. The only thing I wish it had was a small rack mount space for an interface or power conditioner. That problem was easily remedied with a cheap wall mount serve rack and a few 1/2” screws.
Excuse my mess, we’re still moving in.
Anyway, I love it. It’s very sturdy and well built. It was easy and fast to build. About 35-45 mins to finish it. On one con. Ima big man and the keyboard tray is way to low and hit my knees so I took it off. But I still love it! Not my favorite color but the slate grey was 800 . This was 400 soooo yea. Very easy choice there. BUY IT!

Loving it ️
I like the idea of nice design and quality, its not very sturdy but it works for my small home studio requirement.
Amazing desk for a very good price!

Have replacement drawer slides available
