AAA Home Furniture Discounts lacks integrity should be avoided at all costs. I have dealt with hundreds of Sellers in the Marketplace and AAA Home Furniture Discounts is by far the worst. They misrepresented the product (its not solid wood and actually contains cheap particleboard) and refused to replace damaged parts, then taunted me and said they would win against any claim I might file. Shipping was overpriced and underpackaged. They are completely unprofessional and never even sent an order acknowledgment or shipping confirmation. DO NOT REINFORCE THIS BEHAVIOR!
This bed took a little while to assemble, and I am an pro... so be sure to set aside 3 hours or so. It went together well, and is supporting me fine (Im a big guy...).
The drawers are a little small, but they will add a little extra space. One of mine sticks a little, but I believe this could be an assembly issue.
I believe it is a great value for the price that the sellers on here are offering it for.
its a nice looking bed with three drawers underneath...satisfactory for my purpose...however the company sent me the wrong size slats that support the mattress and two of the drawer parts lacked the necessary predrilled holes to assemble it...the rep i emailed about it (no phone number and i requested a call to discuss how to resolve the problems) tried to be helpful and i did get the proper wooden slats but the wrong drawer parts...thankfully my neighbor drilled his own holes in the original parts but the drawers do not open properly...all in all too much trouble to go thru!

HOWEVER - Do not choose the lowest list price. I ended up paying double for shipping than I did for my gun safe which weighed about 3 times more. Before you choose which company to use, put it in cart and see what the total price is... then repeat until you find the TRUE best price.
1-5-09 update - Now that I have had it for a few weeks. The drawers are pretty useless. 2-3 are already not tracking well, as if the tracks are worn or warped. I am simply not going through the effort to disassemble to get the necessary access to fix. I am trying to find out how to drop my rating a star or two.
we had read reviews about this bed before purchasing it and other people had mentioned that it was difficult to put together. i think the issue is that it is time consuming. this is not a bed frame. it is a platform bed which is taking the place of your box-spring. the entire foundation needs to be built. that being said, the directions were easy to follow, all parts were included and they even provide you with a phone number to call should you run into any difficulty. (only available M-F)my husband put together this piece and the matching headboard on his own and it took him 9 hours, so you may want to plan on having a helper. on the whole we are extremely pleased with our purchase. it is a sturdy, beautiful piece of furniture and fits in perfectly with a simple, modern style.
I purchased the Sonoma King Bed with storage drawer, and I loved the bed. However I cant say the say about their customer service. Customer service is very difficult to get in touch with, and you are not treated as a valued customer. My experience with this vendor was horrible. My account was overdrawn, and I was forced to return my purchase, because my displease with this vendor, and they refused to refund my perchase unless I posted a positive review on this vendor. I render $41.35 to this vendor, just to share my experience with other. Orer at your own risk. Other than that the bed itself was quit nice.
Bed went together fine. Worked fine for sleep. First time I had sex on it, drawers went out of alignment. Am going to have to reinforce it to keep it square.
First, I really do love this bed frame. The design is beautiful, its a sturdy platform, and its a really efficient use of space. I love the drawers. Its the perfect bed if you want to put a big bed in a small room. Having said that, please be warned that it comes in over a hundred pieces and it took my husband about eight hours to assemble with breaks for cursing and drinking. If youre handy and you dont mind a challenge, its a great bed for the price. If you dont know what a stabilizer is, you might want to keep shopping.
I love the bed. Looks great put together and the drawers under the bed are a great space saver. It went to bed fairly quickly, especially for putting it together solo. The directions were easy to read. My only complaint is the wood the drawer glides get screwed into. The wood started cracking each time I hand screwed the screws in, until I got smart and drilled the holes a little deeper. The relieved some of the presure of the screw going into the wood. I guess the just didnt bore the hole deep enough.
I will call manufacturer and ask the to replace those pieces for me. All in all its a great bed for the money. We will see how their customer service is.
