The mattress was wrapped very well. It stretched out quickly and is quite soft. The chemical smell on the wrapping and mattress was strong. I was able to take off the mattress cover and wash it and let the mattress air out. It fits the bed perfectly.

Easy to set up. I dont remember it smelling at all when we opened it. I love this mattress! I had been having hip pain for months being on a hard mattress. This mattress has a great luxurious memory foam topper built into it with just the perfect amount of fluff that I am finally comfortable and can sleep all the way through the night. So glad I bought it. Comfortable and supportive.
Update: I just bought a second one because I like the first mattress so much!
