Inexpensive loft solution, but I have the following suggestions:
1) The manufacturer should switch from a slide material to something else; the slide is thin and as such makes the characteristic thunder noise (not TOO loudly) of being warped. Kids dont seem to care though.
2) Change the design to allow the slide to be placed on either side of the unit. Worth every dime
Purchased this bed for our 4 year olds birthday. So glad we did! He absolutely loves it. Was easy for my husband and I to set up. Our son loves going down the slide and playing under the bed. Perfect bed for a big boy room. I really love how it look like
My husband and I bought this bed for our 3 year old son and he absolutely LOVES it! He gets so excited in the mornings when he wakes up and gets to slide down from the bed. I was very skeptical about ordering this product! I was worried that the opening for the slide would be big enough he could fall while he was sleeping, but we havent had a problem and I dont think that could happen. Then I read a review that said the mattress has to be under 6 feet. we had already ordered his mattress online and it is very hard to find a good quality mattress that is 6 feet long. We decided to take the chance since the description says it fits a standard size twin and I am so glad we did! The reviewer who wrote that is totally FALSE! We bought a 38W X 75L X 6 1/2 mattress and it fits great! I was also worried about the slide making a lot of noise. but thats not the case with ours! I can hear if my son goes down the slide but its nothing loud or annoying. Im glad I hear a little something when he goes down the slide that way I know if hes up playing instead of sleeping! My CONS for this bed is that some edges seem a little sharp. nothing major but if someone rubs it a certain way it could scratch them. And its not that sturdy. when hes crawling around and being rough the bed shakes some and I cant keep furniture right up next to it because of this. No big deal though it is still an awesome bed!
Overall we couldnt have bought a better bed for our son and would recommend this to anyone! Great choice for reasonable price
This was so nice to put together. Every piece was labeled even the screws. The instructions were clear and understandable. All pieces lined up correctly and was a smooth process. It took a little over an hour for my husband and I to put this together. Feels very sturdy and of good matieral. It came nicely packaged. There were no extra screws or anything so make sure your little one isnt being a big helper and loses any. The slide side rail is like a cheese grater and it did feel a little rough but I kept running my hand over it and it never cut me so I think it will be fine. Overall I would purchase again and I do recommend buying this. My little girl just loves it! You get more than what you pay for!
Good overall. The slide sticks out 57.5 from the bed. The instructions say to use a mattress no more than 6 tall / our existing twin was too tall, had to get another. Slide is rated to 150 lbs, bed to 200 lbs. You can put a second mattress on the floor underneath it, but theres little head room, cant sit up under there. My 5 year old son loves it. Plays around on the slide much more than I thought he would / its noisy, because its . Only unexpected drawback it that the height of the bed makes it difficult (for the grownup) for cosy bedtime story reading. A bedside chair is a little low. Still, we are happy with it. Much better than I was expecting
Very sturdy bed,i got it here in for less than 200 delivery was included,now its more expensive,still worth to buy,my 2.5 old boy loves itsliding,jumping,coloring,in it,very nice bad,even an adult can lay dawn on it with a child for a story time!we gonna buy bed curtains too!Thank you for a quality item!!very happy with it!
