This cabinet is a beautiful piece. I love the dimensional inset of the birds. It does have a bit of a smell and some inperfections, but I think this is the intent-to have some character. The only thing very wrong with the cabinet is the left door not opening with any kind of ease. It seems this would not be rocket engineering, but there it is-the one characteristic keeping it from being a 5 star product.
This cabinet is all I expected and more. Yes it is a put it together yourself cabinet, but I am 78 years old and I did it by myself in less than a day. Love the look so much that I think i may get a second one. The inside is deeper than a lot of the cabinets shown and I am thrilled. If you follow the instructions it goes together with no problems.

Super cute. Very casual piece. Intentionally distressed look. Just what I wanted for our loft space upstairs. Assembly was not difficult. Used home drill rather than allen wrench provided.
I loved the image but when I received it , it is so natural and unfinished you can catch a splinter if not careful. Because of the natural state you have to play around with the door alignment in order for them to stay closed . I didnt want to unassembled and send back so I ordered glass for the top as not to catch splinters and keep from ruining or staining the top. I think it would be such an important improvement it the product was a finished piece of furniture

Ive seen these at Home Goods for about $100 more than I paid and this one appears to be better quality.
