Seems to be a pretty nice cabinet, and about what I expected. The back panels are not quite as solid as I would like, but overall it is a pretty nice piece of furniture and was not that difficult to put together.
Ive bought and put together other media cabinets before for non-media uses (the narrow ones make great bathroom cabinets and hold a ton of stuff.) This time, though, I really needed a cabinet for all my DVDs. Many of them are rare and hard to find, and I didnt want to just put them on alternate media and do away with the DVDs themselves.
The Simpli media cabinet seemed like itd fit the bill. Its small but big enough to hold a substantial number of DVDs, and the color fits in perfectly with my decor. The quality is nice, much like the media cabinet I bought several years ago. As usual, the directions are awful, but if youve done the cam thing before (how you screw the product together), youll figure out how this works.
It took several hours, including my own little addition: I added four L-brackets to the back, one at each corner, to provide extra strength and stability.
Its a fine looking piece, easily holds dozens of DVDs on adjustable shelves. Id highly recommend it, just as long as you are aware that common sense will guide you with putting this together, not the crummy directions!
The piece, completed, looks good. However, it was difficult to assemble, and the instructions were inadequate almost to the point of being useless. For one thing, they say nothing about positioning pieces to begin the assembly. I had to work out for myself how to lay individual pieces in order to begin putting them together. Also, glue gave out when I first tried to lift the piece onto its feet to continue assembly. The piece came apart and I had to start over. Had to buy a better glue.
Doubt very much Id buy it again, simply because of the difficulty of getting it together.
I was able to follow the instructions easily and assemble this cabinet without any problem...and thats saying a lot for me! LOL! It is perfect size for the intended use and fits in with my Moroccan-inspired decorating theme. Love it.
I am more than pleased with this little end table. The design fits beautifully with my collection of not too pricey mid-century/Bo-ho furnishings acquired over the lifetime. The cabinet arrived without damage, was easy to assemble in about an hour by one old lady. Every time I look at it it rings my bells. Thank you for offering and delivering such nice furnishings for the rest of us.

Great storage for books, DVDs or Knicks knacks.
Took longer to put together than I had hoped for but only because Im getting too old for this. Its a beautul cabinet though and we love it.

I loved it. Its same as the picture and easy to assemble. Cute, small and elegant piece.
