    Easier than expected.

I rarely write reviews but I read a lot of reviews before purchasing because its a big piece of furniture and it would be a huge pain to return if it was junk. Kids are hard one things so I didnt want to overpay for something that will undoubtedly get scratched and banged up. For the price its a good deal. Took me roughly 6/7 hours to put together about 4.5 to make the two twin beds then another couple hours to finish everything. I took my time and read the directions closely. I did it by myself until I needed my husband to help lift one bed on top of the other. My only issue is the wood is pretty soft. If you tighten the screws to much it quickly smashes the wood. I scratched off the stickers with my finger nails and it definitely dents easily. But again, great deal for the price. It looks good and seems pretty sturdy.

    Not Complete

While the design was what we were looking for, one brace beam was cracked and some of the slates were the wrong size. Disappointing for the young ones who were hoping to enjoy their new bed right away.

My 7/y.o. daughter and I built this by ourselves

The product arrived much faster than promised, which worked great for us (we had just finished with a wacky saga with a different seller/ online furniture site that sent us an incomplete product, then casually told us they sold too many and couldnt fulfill the order, so we should pack it up for pickup/ return). I dont order much stuff online, but I thought we would give this a shot. Everything arrived nicely and even my 7/y.o. daughter could follow most of the instructions. We are possibly missing 1 screw, but could have just been misplaced. It did take many hours, as the directions advised against using power tools. I am considering putting some kind of reinforcement at the end areas of the upper bunks slats, as I just get scared of someones foot slipping through at the end of a mattress ( I still have to buy mattresses, so this may not be an issue at all). All in all, we are very happy with the bed and the whole process.

    Great bed and price!

I was skeptical that this bed would be sturdy for the amount of money I was paying. It has exceeded my expectations. This bed was easy to Assemble and is very sturdy.

    Great for small kids

My 3yo loves it! Its a pain to change the sheets though. The parts arrived in relatively good shape; there was one piece with some cosmetic damage that I was able to assemble to be in the back and out of sight. I put this together in about 3 hours with help from my 8yo niece. One minor complaint is that the bed slats are so far apart. Having been warned about this from other reviews, I bought traditional firm mattresses instead of memory foam, so they would have a bit more internal rigidity to make up for the lack of support from the slats. A bunkie board would also work but I didnt want to spend the extra or to give up some of the headroom in the lower bunk. Caution: the slide is short fast, with nothing to slow the descent at the bottom (picture a playground slide with a horizontal portion at the end; this doesnt have such a thing). Kids were hurting their tailbones upon landing. I keep the slide in a closet, and only bring it out under supervision and with some padding under the bottom edge (a folded/up blanket).

    Pretty nice bed!

Made a couple mistakes due to directions not being as clear as I like. Note that this bunk set takes a while to put together. Overall were pretty happy with it. Our 8 year old loves it!

    Holds the weight

One of the questions we had when we purchased the bunk bed, if it could hold the weight of three people, two in the main bed and one person on the top bed. The bed seems to be made of a light wood, and when we completed the build, we did question if it could hold weight. It does hold the weight! Everyone that slept on the beds were over 200lbs. It was not a problem. The top bunk and the both had adults using them. Together, the main bed and the top bunk held up just fine, no problems at all. Over all, Im impressed. The could use extra wheels for the corners. The wheels can be bought on .

    Wood

These were the hardest bunk beds to assemble. The headboard and footboard was completely complicated!! It took many hours and a lot of frustration to get them put together
