Wood is kinda cheap. It looks nice though. Took it all out of the box and the bottom headboard was crackedI did not feel it was safe to try and wood glue it back together because it was the part that would hold some of the top bunk. Im returning it.
I bought this for my boys. 7 and 5 . They absolutely love them. I built it myself but at the end needed help lifting one on top of the other. But easy to put together time consuming but easyand its a beautiful bunk bed. I love it and Im very proud
We wanted to put bunk beds in the girls room for when they visit. It was important to find a set with a removable ladder, as we wanted to put a slide in from the top bunk. These fit the bill perfectl They were fairly straightforward and easy to assembly. Only four stars for assembly because stacking them was tricky. They are pretty sturdy, too. I have a hunch that if we used them as their intended purpose, with mattresses in both top and bottom and the ladder instead of the slide, they would be five/star sturdy as well. They are pretty, to Im not sure what the issue was with removing the sticker for some who commented / we used a little goo/gone and it was gone. Its been nearly a year of weekend use and they are holding up grea
This is a great bunk bed and especially for the pric It took me and my wife one and a half hours to assemble and all the pieces were there. Came in great condition, no damag Its very sturd! Im glad I bought i It fits great in our kids smallish room, with tons of space leftover. For all the bunk beds similar to this one, these bunks can support the most weight, so it will last well into our kids teens. It was a great investmen
it takes quite a bit of assembling, but once its together, its beautiful and does its job very well. from the top bunk, you dont feel too much moving or shaking of the bed when u move around which is reassuring.
Positives:
/Parts were well labeled, and all the pieces were included.
/Assembly was fairly easy. You will need 2 people to lift the top bunk over the bottom. Also, youll need enough space to assemble two twin beds side by side.
Negatives:
/Bed is VERY creaky/wobbly with a 65 lb child on top. The entire bottom bunk moves when the top bunk sleeper makes the slightest re/adjustment.
/Slats seem weak and unsupportive. After one day of use, they visibly buckle with 95 lbs of weight (65 lb child 30 lb mattress) on them. The weight limit claims to be 225 lbs, but Id never test that.
/Beds are NOT identical when used as two twin beds. One has longer headboard/footboard posts than he other.
I think its okay for children 50 lbs or less, and dont have high expectations as to how long itll last. At least its only 20
