Had to move family member with injuries to first floor of house so bought this bed. Promptly delivered and easy to set up. Bought 12 Zinus mattress. She loves combination, comfortable. USB port broke first week. Called and within a week had replacement parts with instructions at house.
Sturdy, extremely heavy bed frame. Definitely you need two people to pick it up! We were concerned that it wouldnt fit in our bedroom doorway, but once my husband took the door down it was able to fit. All the controls, positions, vibration, remote, etc worked as described. Very satisfied with performance, quality and price. Would recommend for sure!
i highly recommend this bed. but be prepared you will not want to leave! such a great price and also its super easy to assemble. just be prepared to have someone help you carry it to your bedroom. it weighs over 200lbs and my bedroom was on the 2nd floor!
My adjustable bed arrived on time, properly packaged, and no damage to packaging. I am using a Purple mattress (original version). Currently the mattress adjustable bed are standalone, meaning I dont have it setup within an actual bed and headboard.
Installation:
One person (who has strength) can install this bed.
1. Open the lid of the box and determine which end has the 2 holes on the top side. These holes will be fitted with the mattress retainer bar at the foot of the bed. Youll want to know this so that you can position the box properly.
2. Position the box so that when the bed is unfolded the foot of the bed will be where you want the foot of the bed to be.
3. Once unfolded, the bed will be upside down. Snip/cut the zip ties and remove: 2 smaller packages that contain the legs, the power pack/cord, and the mattress retainer.
4. Decide on which height of legs you want and screw them into the base. The holes on the base will be self/evident. The legs each come with 2 pieces screwed together. If you want shorter height, unscrew the two pieces and use either the shorter piece or the longer piece.
5. Once you have all the legs screwed on tightly, get on one side of the bed and lift it up onto its side. Then get on the other side and slowly lower the bed until it is on all its legs. The legs have plastic caps on the bottom so you should be able to slide your bed into its final place.
DONE!
After getting my bed set up I placed my Purple mattress on top. I tested out the remote and it worked automatically (after installing batteries). I didnt have to pair it. The foot head functions worked perfectly. The remote has 3 built/in presets which all worked: No snoring mode, TV mode, and Zero Gravity mode. There are also buttons to memorize your own preset positions.
The massage function works as well. Its basically 3 types of vibration with 3 or 4 levels of intensity. I cant see myself using this much as it can get loud if you put it on highest intensity. In my opinion, vibration doesnt equate to a good massage.
Overall I am very pleased with how easy it is to install the bed. Im also pleased that it worked right out of the box and that I didnt have any problems. I did run into a temporary snag. The mattress retainer bar would only fit into one of the holes. I couldnt force the other end of the bar into its hole. So I got a mallet, put the bar into the hole as much as I could by hand, then covered the bar with a piece of cardboard and then whacked it a few times with the mallet to drive it into place.
The verdict is still out whether Ill be happy with this one week from now. Ill add to this review if anything changes. For now I am pleased.
Love the vibration strength along with the different ways it vibrates. And the remote is absolutely GREAT! The assembly was quick. But be sure u get strong movers to bring it in from outside. We did not have the option for them to bring it in would have been great if it were available.
I was expecting to have to look in the instruction manual on which bolts I would have to place, how to hook up all the cords, and possibly how to secure the motors. None of that, screwed in the six legs, turned it over, hooked up one impossible to mess up line and plugged it in. The hardest thing to do was remove the plastic on the batteries included for the remote.
I loved the fact that it has a wireless remote, so no tangle of cords, but I went on vacation for a week and came back and the bed will not rise. I thought maybe the batteries were dead in the remote so I changed them out and that didnt work. I crawled under the bed and checked the wires and everything is plugged up and green lights showing. Not sure what the issue is.
