Absolutely horrible. Arrived severely damaged. Entire leg wont screw in because there is no metal to receive the leg screw. So I cant use 1 of the 4 legs. 2 of the 3 hinges werent secured and fell apart when you tried to open the storage. So upset. Its sitting in my living room unevenly broken because I dont want to throw away $200... Poor quality.
First off, this lounge/chaise came a week earlier than expected and that is a definite plus! The sizing was perfect for me bc Im using it as an accent piece not a main piece in my room. Its perfect for what I needed it for (bedroom bench) and the storage is decent. I dont need it but its nice to know that its there should I in the future. Now to e assembly was not as easy. The directions were fine, but you kind of have to strong arm it to get it to cooperate but once you do and you get everything lined up its a lovely piece of furniture. Regarding comfort eh I wouldnt buy or use it for that. Its a bit stiff if you ask me but Im not using it for that so thats not an issue. For those who are keep that in mind it is stiff. All that being said, it is serving its purpose and has been a lovely addition to my room.
I was shocked how hard this was to assemble. I finally had to get someone else to help and it took ab out 3 hours to make it work. If you are having trouble getting the side and back to slide in, I suggest going ahead and disassembling the seat and removing it first and then continue your struggle to install the side and the back. Once those are in place, then reassemble the seat. Once it was finally together, I realized how hard the surface is to sit on...not much cushion at all and feels more like sitting on a bench with a piece of material on it. I may end up letting this be an expensive pet bed. Would not buy again.
