I bought this to put at the foot of the bed for my animals to use as a step to get up, and for storage. You do need a power drill for part of the assembly, everything else comes in the box and it was easy to assemble. Looks nice, same as picture.
The item was faulty. There are metal inserts pre-installed that the provided screws are to be inserted into. One was stripping the screws. Instead of sending a replacement, the only think they would offer is if I were to find a part number for the faulty piece, send it to them, and they would then send me a replacement part. I asked for a replacement item (and I am returning the faulty item), and they said they would issue a refund and thanks for my business. Poor product, even worse customer support
This chest arrived very quickly, was fairly easy to put together, It only took about 35 minutes to assemble. Nice amount of storage and decorative to boot. great value and aesthetically pretty.
I purchased this storage trunk to replace plastic totes that had blankets in them. So glad I did. The instructions could use more detail, so pay close attention to the pictures, we had to take part of it apart as we did it backwards initially. Good holding capacity, as the photo shows, we have it packed!!
I was looking to put together a home gym/office room, but my workout equipment was all over the place. I needed something that looks good, but with enough space to fit my adjustable weight set and this works perfectly. Now, my space is the perfect hang out area and office, but when I need to workout, I can just pull out my gym equipment from this storage chest to get the job done.

Parts for assembly dont fit
Great space for storage, bigger than I thought it would be. The hinges dont line up with the drilled holes, though so now I have a crooked lid
