Good value for the money and good design overall

I wanted to have a rifle safe with a weight in between 80 to 120 lbs, so that it can be moved with two adults. This safe fits the need just about right. Granted it uses relatively thin sheet metal to reduce weight, when compared to safes sold at twice as much the price and weight several hundred pounds, but to keep out kids from accidentally accessing the firearms this safe works just fine. I place the safe on a carpeted floor and it stands firmly with door closed and fully open, a little surprise since I had expected the safe might tilt when the door was fully open, and it didnt. Still, I would suggest whoever is using this same safe be cautious when the door is fully open. I like it has a dedicated compartment for pistols and some mags and still has adequate space for up to five rifles. I have not had a chance to place five rifles in it so I cannot say for sure if it will be crowded to fit five rifles all at once. I had a small issue and contacted the customer service. They immediately responded over a weekend and helped me get the issue resolved. Superb customer service I have to say. Overall I think this safe is a very good buy for the money, completely meeting my expectations. One thing they could do better is to add a backlit keypad so that even in darkness I can press the code and open up the safe.

Great easy access kid proof gun locker!

Good for keeping guns away from your children. If your looking for something to keep thieves away, get something more durable because this product is not for you. This also does have to be mounted otherwise it is unstable. It also provides easy access to your guns for the protection when you need it most. Overall great buy for what I was looking for. Will update review in time if I have any issues.

A good bang for your buck but still, its a budget safe.

The bad 1. The firearm holders are foam with cutouts, kind of like the foam in packing boxes so I felt jipped. 2. The instruction manual isnt that clear. The good. 1. Pretty sturdy for a budget safe. 2. Key pad code. 3. Hidden key lock 4. Safe within the safe with separate keys. 5. Without being mounted, it doesnt tilt when opening but the door closes on it own so you have to hold it when inside. Conclusion. Well for around $350 bucks, you get some cool features like the keypad, hidden lock, and another safe with separate keys. Fits my needs perfectly. I needed something light for upstairs, something the kids cant get into, and multiple ways to open the safe. If you are looking for a heavy and secure safe, this isnt it, its light and doesnt seem to hard to smash open. (Maybe Im wrong) but I keep mine in my bedroom. Kids cant get into it. Easy and convenient to access and drilled down so nobody is taking it anywhere. Evaluate your needs and decide for yourself but for 350, Im happy. When I get a house, Ill get a more expensive and secure one but will still keep this one in my bedroom.

Customer Service Done The Right Way

At first I was not enthused by the safe its functions. After being able to communicate with Customer service they were able to send out a working product for me now, that I look forward to. The inner lock box is a great feature , plenty of space on the inside. Overall the product price is well worth the investment.

Rifle Safe that Does All I Need it to Do at an Affordable Price

The rifle safe securely stores firearms from unauthorized access. I also like that it has a smaller lockbox inside the safe itself which can be used to secure valuables. This safe is not fireproof, but it also isnt priced like it is. This safe allows quick access to its contents while keeping other people out.

    Wouldnt buy again

Its is a lot lighter than what I would like. I can actually pick it up and carry it myself which kind of defeats the purpose.

Not what I expected. It doesnt hold many guns and the lock part is very umm cheaply made

    Ok

It ok, not heavy duty material. I put my guns inside when my grand kids are visiting and so they cant get to my guns.
