    Great piece of furniture

Great deal!! High quality and great design! Great piece of furniture. It did take my husband a couple if hours to assemble but the wood is great quality and so easy to maneuver. Definitely recommend this piece of furniture

Mediocre quality and hard to put together

I bought this bed so my aging parents would have a place to sleep when they come to visit. The bed is mediocre at best...you could see through the paint job on some of the boards to the wood grain (see picture), and it was a BEAST to put together. The instructions were very confusing! In addition, my product had scratches on some of the boards that were noticeable (see second picture). Overall it serves its purpose, but I wouldnt recommend unless you have the patience of a saint and and several people to help you. If my husband hadnt of helped, I wouldve sent it back.

Awesome bed. Idk about 2 hours.

Keep up the good work,i will buy your products again!!!!!! Im a polymer engineer used to running some high level technical equipment and def took more than 2 hours to assemble unless u literally move non stop and have everything set up ready to go. Its definently a cool design and glad I made the purchase.

A good bed for the price

With this bed, you get a lot for the money! A daybed with trundle, 2 large drawers, and the ability to use a fold-in-half king-size mattress (8 thick when single twin, 4 thick when expanded out as a king size). We saw a bed like this on s website when we were researching daybeds, but the shipping on that bed was literally more than the bed ($400 or something). Then we found this bed, which is nearly the same design. Construction wasnt too hard. If you have a little experience and proper power tools, its easy. If you have no experience, you can still do it. I think I saw only a 2.7 star review for ease of assembly, which seems unfairly low. The instructions are clear and they have indicators to help you orient the pieces correctly as long as youre careful. The only knocks against the bed I have are: 1) The rails are a little low. Using an 8 mattress, normal sized pillows almost spill over the rail. My daughter mostly sits on it like a couch and the back is against a wall, so its not a problem for her. But realize that thicker mattresses and more layers of bedding with larger pillows would likely spill over the rails pretty easily if there isnt a wall to stop it. 2) Drawers have no sliding surface help them slide easier - its just wood on wood. Eventually, this wood on wood will probably become slicker and slide more easily, but initially there is a decent amount of friction. I believe I could add a cheap solution, but it seems like the bed should have came with something to aid in this area. 3) Wood from Brazil. This might weigh on your conscience if you pay attention to the massive deforestation happening at the hands of both man and nature, or if you just care for the well being and long-term survival of humans in general. If Id have known this before purchasing, I might not have. Logging can be done responsibly, but Brazil is not even close to doing it and are very likely accelerating the extinction of life on Earth. Whoa...that got dark. Sorry! Other than those small issues, Im happy with the bed.

    REQUIRES LOTS OF TIME

I was really excited to have this as a new part of furniture for my daughters room. Comes in sooooo many pieces, took a good 3-4 hours for my Handy Man husband to put together. As it came along, we quickly found out how cheaply made it was. It is not the sturdiest and it had so many parts that were broken as he was putting them together. I had to email the company for 3 really important parts to get replaced. We will see how long that takes! I would say if you can spend a little more on something better quality, do it!

    not as expected

This bed ended up being a lot shorter than expected. seems to be sturdy with the trundle pushed in but with pulled out not so much. over all, its best made for a very young child

    Great bed

I bought this bed for my daughter. She was moving out of her toddler bed into a big girl bed. The bed is beautiful when put together. I also like there are drawers for storage so it saves space in place of a dresser. The drawers fit quite a bit of clothing (she is only 5, so clothes are thinner). The bed took 3 hours to assemble but in all a great purchase.
